Should biometrics appear in case status update?

My wife is seeking AOS from an F1 visa. She did her biometrics appointment in December, so now we assume we're waiting for an appointment (or RFE). If we look at the case status online, it just says that the case was received back in November and that the biometrics filing fee was received. It says nothing about the biometrics being done. Is this a problem? I just want to make sure that her biometrics weren't somehow overlooked.
