Thank you in advance for taking your valuable time to give me your advice! I really appreciate it!

- I got married before three months and now I want to fill I-130 petition for my wife. Since I don't have our original marriage certificate at hand, however, my wife sent me a scanned copy. So, my question is can I just print the scanned copy my wife sent me and use it with the I-130 application? Is scanned version of the certificate acceptable for the initial I-130 application?

- Part 5 of form I-130 says " Have you ever previously filed a petition for this beneficiary or any other alien?"...….. I have never filed I-130 for anyone. But, I have written letter of financial support for a family member as part of her F-1 visa application saying that I can help provide her with financial support until she finish her studies. Her F-1 visa was approved.... So, taking this into consideration, do I answer Yes or No to the question in part 5 of form I-130?

Thanks again for the help!
Jim
