Tax for 2018 won't be ready before my interview date.

My interview is schedule for  early next month but I'm not sure I will be able to file my taxes before the interview because of possible delay of W2. 

Will this affect me? although I still have till April 15th to file my taxes for 2018. 

I have all our previous  taxes for the past five years except for 2018.

If you can file, you can and if you can't, then you always have a reason and that can be explained.  All the taxes you have should be fine unless the officer is pain in the ### and will ask you to send updated taxes later. So if you can try to get them out before your interview, do so

Officer  never ask me or check my 2018 Taxes , my interview was last week , good luck

You will be good since you have until April 15th to file 2018 taxes.  My wife had her interview two weeks ago in Atlanta.  Make sure you have the IRS tax transcripts with you.  We filed last February (online) and submitted the last three years of IRS tax transcripts.  At the time of N400 submission we had not filed our 2017 tax return.  During the interview two weeks ago the agent asked for a copy of the 2017 tax transcript which my wife had. 

 

My wife's oath ceremony is this Friday.  During this entire visa journey our frame of mind is it is better to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it.
