I just wanted to share my timeline:

 

Packet received by DOS:                                                                                       May 30^th 2019

DOS updated status – No Objection letter received:                                      June 10^th 2019

Favorable Recommendation by DOS                                                                 August 13th 2019

Letter from DOS                                                                                                     August 23 2019

Waiver from USCIS                                                                                               September 1st 2019

 

I never received a receipt from USCIS.

Guys, how long it usually takes after the recommendation, to get the final approve? Wich were the minimum and maximum time waited here?

Update: received DoS letter in mail today. It is dated 15th August. Nothing yet from USCIS.

Last update! Just received my final approve notice from the USCIS!

 

Took almost a month since the USCIS received my Favorable recommendation.

Usually how long did it take you all to see DOS received everything online? It's been two weeks and nothing has been updated online of them receiving my documents.

It took me 5 weeks but i have seen where it took other members a lot less.

22 august - NOS was received and DoS site updated

28 august - fav recommendation sent

4 september - uscis lockbox accepted

 

Question: I was already selected for h1b and waiting waiver to apply for the visa. Once i get the approval, can i apply for the visa or do i need to wait for the approval mail from uscis?

i called the USCIS today and they kindly told the receipt number.

Finally, I had a favorable recommendation!!!!! It seems that my recommendation was sent on August 26th, however I still didn't receive anything.

 

I just would like to know, if anyone here knows how long it takes to get my documents in my mail.
