Congrats!! I agree - hope the USCIS won't take too long - I'm waiting on that too.

Be hopeful, mine took 2 weeks to from the date USCIS got the recommendation from DOS.

Never thought I would see this day! Finally got favorable recommendation after 18 weeks of wait! For all those waiting good luck and don't lose hope! Hopefully, USCIS approval won't take this much time...

My application doesn't show up on the website. I sent an email to waiver department and they said that they sent favorable recommendation to USCIS on april 7th but i have not gotten the letter yet. When i search with my number it says no information available. Anyone else has the some problem?

That's a great news! Congratulations!! I'm so happy for you.

I received letter from DOS and USCIS receipt notice: May 4 

 

USCIS received my case: April 29 (It was showing case received at another office. Vermont center transferred my case to California) 

UCSIS approved case: May 21

Received final approval letter: May 23rd 

(3 weeks from USCIS received date to Final waiver) approval)

Will the letter from DOS and USCIS receipt notice have the case number which I can then use to track the progress of USCIS approval?

Thanks so much!  I took your advise and reached out to the local congressman - they promptly agreed to email the waiver division. This was last week - haven't heard back from the congressman's office yet to know if they ever responded to their email but perhaps it worked!!

USCIS receipt notice will have case number that you can use to track your case on https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do 

DOS letter is just a proof that they have sent FR to USCIS.

Thats so nice they promptly agreed to help. Either way - glad it worked out.
