15 weeks of waiting for recommendation! Anyone in the same boat? From what I have seen people usually get it between 10-12 weeks! This long wait is very anxiety ridden...

I can understand your situation. My FR took more than 17 weeks.  I hope you will get it in this week.

Did you send email to DOS?

I emailed them after 12 weeks of processing and got reply in 17th week. Email stated that DOS is trying to expedite processing for all applicants. Two days after I got email from DOS, they updated the status online.  I think that email worked.

Thanks for the empathy and advice. I did email them a while back but will email now again as it has been post 12 weeks. Hopefully by the time they reply there will be an update.

I'm new with a newbie question. How do you request a No-Objection Statement from Honduras? Does Honduras allow this? Thanks!

You should look at Honduras embassy website if they are providing some information there. If you will not find anything there, then you should contact them directly by email or by phone. In my case, I also contacted my embassy by email because they did not have any information regarding No objection statement on their website. Each country has their own rules and required paperwork which you need to provide in order to obtain No objection statement.

Thank you! There was no information on the Honduras embassy website.

Then just send them email what you need to do to obtain the No objection statement. They will provide you with the specific requirements. I am not sure how fast will the communication be because most of the embassies are still closed due to the pandemic.

I wanted to share my waiver timeline in this forum as I have seen so many posts in the past, which gave me hope console at times. It has been a journey, keep checking my case number all the time regardless of device and place. Anyway, I feel a bit relief and I want to say to my fellow members who are waiting on their FR: I wish you the best and may your case see a favorable recommendation soon.
