Hello All,

It's been 15 days, still home embassy didn't sent the NOS to the DOS.

I've contacted to the office and said "we will sent".

Is it okay? I need waiver ASAP for the H1B.

Any suggestions on this please.

Are you sure your embassy didn't send? Or is it that the DoS website didn't update the receipt (which can even take 15-30 days after your embassy sends). It's not very clear from your statement what your home embassy's response is.

Hi,

Today I got the letter from USCIS with the receipt number. The case status website shows the message "Case Was Received At Another USCIS Office. On January 29, 2020, we received your Form I-612, Application for Waiver of the Foreign Residence Requirement".  Is that normal? Is I-612 relevant for no-objection cases?

Hi @tnnandi,

My case with the USCIS has been approved!! I just checked the status online !

I hope you get yours soon as well! All the best!

Thank you for your response. My home embassy said "we will send the NOS to DOS once we got the originals from consulate office", but consulate office said "we have sent the docs 15days before" (that means my embassy didn't get docs still).

I'm in panic.

Hi everybody,

I am applying for the waiver based on No Objection. Today it marks the 12 weeks since all my documents were received and I my case is still pending.

Comparing to other people here it seems I am a little behind most cases, does anyone have a similar timeline to mine?

I have everything received on Nov. 25th... no updates since then...

I started my process mid September and it only finished on January — 4 months in total. You can send an e-mail to DoS requesting the status of your petition, although it might take a while for them to respond.

Hi Guys.

Can I sign the form DS-3035 electronically? The instructions do not specify. I already sent the mail and it shows as DoS has received all the documents including NoS about 10 days ago now. It is still pending.  Can't help getting anxious..

-No funding of whatsoever

-No lawyer

- No objection based

Mine still says that was received at another office. Hopefully it will change soon.

Thanks for the update

Hi,

Did you get the I-797B (final document for waiver) from USCIS yet? If yes, how long did it take for USCIS to process it?

Thanks

Can you please tell how long did USCIS take to approve your case (the I 797C form)?

Thanks
