Hi.  I can only tell you how mine worked out.  3 Weeks after NOA2, I called NVC & I was provided with my case & invoice ID#'s.  A few days later, I received a letter in the mail from NVC saying that our packet had been sent to the embassy.  A few days after that, we received email from my beneficiaries embassy telling us what we should do next.  My fiancé completed his DS-160 online & got his confirmation sheet.  He paid his fee, scheduled medical & interview appointments.  This is for Senegal Embassy, not sure about Jamaica.  I hope this helps just a little bit.  You will probably get more detailed info from other VJ members.

You are very welcome.  Try not to stress too much.  I know it's a challenging journey for us.  You will have plenty of time to take care of things on schedule.  Much success to both of you.

@PRC Rabbit thank you... so basically should I be doing anything or just wait for him to get the packet????  I cant wait til this part is over

My fiance is also from Jamaica, during this time you might want to begin getting thing ready for the next step of the process, make sure your fiance has everthing needed for medical and the interview.

"Call me dumb or unaware" you are just unaware but by design. This whole process is daunting at best. It's hard to know what comes next. But by the grace of god VJ was hatched and you now will have a rather uneventful journey to your approved visa. There is so much information on VJ to help but you can also drown in the sea of information. In general follow the below information as it is an advance copy of what your embassy will send you.

One of the links will be the embassy P3 letter which is requested documents that you will present at the interview. The second link is to a step by step of what to do that was given by another member some months ago what he did to avail the visa in Jamaica.  The third link is to the Jamaican Portal that bascially repeats what is in the P3 but it too should be part of your study.

Also make yourself at home in this link as there is a lot of information and others from Jamaica who are sharing their experiences. https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/153-caribbean/

Yes just read the information in the Jamaica portal. I know I personally have given extremely detailed instructions in the past. Step by step with phone numbers and all.

You keep calling NVC 603-334-0888 and ask if it has reached.  And if they assigned a case number.  once you get the case number you can track it on DHL to find when the petition reaches the embassy.  Meanwhile you want your fiancé to order Police cert and no impediment.  Once your case says ready on the CEAC website you can set your interview on the AIS website.  We never received Packet 3.  You can request it from the embassy once you have a case number but really not necessary, we did not.

Can't use the case number for DHL unless I am missing something. My instructions for tracking on DHL are listed here toward the bottom of the first post of this thread.
