EVERYBODIES' cases are different. No two are exactly the same. Where you end up filing is pure luck due to your geographical location.

Nothing anyone says here is going to make ANY of the service centres move any faster, unfortunately. It's something that we all just HAVE to deal with. Threads like this do nothing to help anyone having to cope with their processing times, however. I suggest that we all put our energies into supporting one another when needed, not having a sly dig because some people are lucky to be going through VSC.

Thankyou! ;)

I agree too, however this title and wording could have been a little different...see the replies that were left, then imagine the ones that were not left. You do not know anything about my situation, and I suggest you stick to the things you do know about, thankyouverymuch. :huh2:

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I think regardless of the original intentions of the OP, the thread is in poor taste. It has only stirred up negative emotions.

Should people apologize that they're VSC filers? No.

Are CSC filers entitled to feel jealousy and sour grapes that they're not VSC filers? Yes

Should we be posting threads that stir up these feelings from both VSC and CSC filers, regardless of our innocent intent? Probably not.

My K-1 Timeline:

02/08/2007: Engaged on top of Table Mountain!

03/27/2007: Sent I129f to NSC

04/04/2007: NOA1 (from CSC)

06/27/2007: NOA2!!!!!!!!!!!!

07/09/2007: Paper NOA2 in the mail

07/13/2007: NVC sent our petition to Jo'burg!!

07/27/2007: Packet 3

09/20/2007: Successful Interview!!!

09/27/2007: Visa in hand

10/02/2007: E's flight lands at 2:10 in Chicago!!!!!!

I would have to agree. Your situation, from what you have posted is totally different in that your original petition was denied because you hadn't met your fiance.

good luck everyone!

You are not exact in your assumption, try again.

Oh really? I thought I recall you having filed under hardship because for some reason you couldn't go to egypt and the petition was denied.

I'm a VSC Petitioner, but i'm defenitly not spoiled....day 70 and waiting.....

aww...that sucks. Just curious, what did you get the RFE for? Even if we're going to get one, at least it would be a little comforting that someone up there is paying attention to our file...

Divorced. To hell with him.

I got a IMBRA RFE even though I used the newest forms and checked No on the original I-129F. I called and asked why I got that, their answer, was they must have wanted duplicate copies reinstanted the imbra question, whatever it means.
