Finally got the hard copy of the RFE.. They are asking for prove of 2 year meeting requirement & certified of police & court records (my fiance has a record) but it must not have been enough what he sent..

So i sent in pictures of us together (around 8 pictures) plane ticket when he came & visit me .. But those pictures did not have dates on them (smh) & the plane ticket was actually just the booking of the ticket ...

my question is .. i booked and airbnb when he came here to visit me but it obviosly only has my name on it & i also booked a trip to the blue lagoon on my name too.. so im guessing those would not work? also they give you a list on the RFE for what kind of proves they want so do i need to just give them one or all of their examples?

Since they didn’t specify on the letter of how much evidence to use  listed I would personally try to submit all. Try to use passport stamps along with exact pictures from those stamps, pictures with him and your family or vice versa. The Airbnb you booked you could use that but back it up with maybe a photo and his entry stamp in his passport. Definitely submit those records! my fiancé had an issue with the law but he submitted his deposition as the case was thrown out. If anyone else could add on to what I have missed that was be highly appreciated. Good luck Chipper!

Yes im just thinking if im gonna need to submit an sworn affadavits from  my friends or family?  or if a passport page with entry & exit from his passport with my booking to the blue lagoon, the airbnb & the rental car reciept would be fine? he also bought something when we was at the blue lagoon so maybe if he could find that transaction from his card?

Congrats! The old site updated with my petition approval 6 weeks ago, but the new site still says “case received”. Lol. Good to know the new site works for someone.

I am so happy to say that our case got approved...The tracker app updated just as I woke up. I had to pinch myself to make sure I was actually awake. NOA2 June 26th.

So our case status was updated 6/19 when they said they had received our rfe. I logged in last night and it said last updated 6/25- but wasn’t showing any update. Spoke to uscis online who said they couldn’t see that update and it may take a couple of days to update..Thoughts

Everyone goes through AP especially those who have had an RFE. What you are looking for is the date to be changing when in AP which indicates that your case is being worked on. There is nothing more you can do but wait. Calling is only going to get you pat answers evidence from your last call. Keep your eye on at CEAC and watch for the next step.

I have this https://www.visatutor.com/i-129f-evidence-of-meeting/ link that explains in laymen's terms what they are looking for.

What is AP?  They received my RFE response 3 weeks ago.  It had seemed like others were approved after submitting RFE much more quickly.  I spoke with an agent on the phone a couple of weeks ago and she told me she'd be surprised if I didn't receive something by July 1.  It's almost July 1, and nothing.

There isn't anyone that knows the answer to your questions. They publish that they have up to 12 weeks to reply to an RFE. Sometimes it sooner and sometimes it's longer.

The USCIS has issued a Ruling, effective April 17, 2007, that gives adjudicators flexibility in determining the length of time a petitioner or applicant has to respond to a Request for Evidence (RFE) or a Notice of Intent to Deny (NOID). Currently, the standard deadline for response to an RFE is twelve weeks (84 days). NOIDs must be responded to within thirty days. Under this regulation, the USCIS will determine how much time should be permitted in any given case, with maximum possible time being what is now the standard response deadline. That is, adjudicators will set deadlines for both RFEs and NOIDs that could be up to twelve weeks in case of RFEs or up to thirty days for NOIDs. No extensions of time are permitted.

https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/USCIS/Outreach/Feedback%20Opportunities/Interim%20Guidance%20for%20Comment/change-timeframes-rfe.pdf

Processing of your Form I-129F. will resume upon receipt of your response.  If you have not heard from USCIS within 60 days of responding, you may contact the USCIS Contact Center (UCC) at 1-800-375-5283.

It is almost impossible to determine USCIS workload and when the adjudicator can get back to your file, since the adjudicator likely just picked up another file and started working on it after sending out your RFE and putting yours back in the stack. It may be safe to assume that you may hear something in 2 to 4 weeks, maybe sooner(?). It is safe to say that at this time, USCIS is seriously buried in paperwork and short on workers, just look at the protracted processing times for everything....

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Some visa applications require further administrative processing, which takes additional time after the visa applicant’s interview by a consular officer. Applicants are advised of this requirement when they apply. Most administrative processing is resolved within 60 days of the visa interview. When administrative processing is required, the timing will vary based on the individual circumstances of each case. Your mileage may vary.
