Yes, we included G-1145 but now I'm confused because it says it only applies to Lewisville, Texas; Chicago Illinois and Phoenix Arizona. Does not mention Dallas Texas. Has someone been sent to Texas through the USPS and received text?

You are going to experience throughout this process the level of non-communication that you will receive from USCIS/NVC and the embassy. You will find that you have to be proactive. Sometimes one website updates and another does not. You'll receive and email when you were expecting a snail mail document. Some times you'll not receive anything but one day your NOA2 shows up in the snail mail when you expected an email. So my advise is not to question every little thing that doesn't go the way you thought that it would.

Many of your same findings have already been sliced and diced by others. I recommend that you go over to the January filers thread found below and read through the history where I think many of your questions you haven't ever thought of have already been addressed there. This is not going to be a fast process so sit back and take it but don't get frustrated.

Your both too early in expecting a reply. From receipt date normal is 2-4 weeks.

We sent in our packet on Feb 26th with FedEx, it was received on the 27th. Have not received anything from USCIS yet, no text no email. It seems like it’s taking about a week to get NOA1.

See above and ....

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

Opinions needed!

package was mailed with Money Order and mail tracking.

Received & Signed for on Feb 11 by a K. Thornquist.

Currently no NOA1.

Now what? Do I send a second application that I already have prepared? Am I being unreasonably impatient.

Nothing received back. No NOA1. Is it fair to assume that we got lost in the shuffle?

Thank you

Normally takes 2 to 4 weeks to receive a NOA1. More patience is needed on your part, especially since you're very early on in the process and which can take upwards to six to eight months.

I really really appreciate your input. I am aware of the length of time that it takes for the entire process, but I find myself stuck comparing my case to those that have filed mid-Feb who have already received NOA1s. Why would hose who applied later be issued an NOA before me? That’s my logic right now.

Thanks again
