FEBRUARY 2019 I-129F FILERS

I'm also still waiting, we wait together!

When I get anxious about it, or the patience runs low I try to think about what my original date was when I signed up for this site in February was, and I'm trying to base my expectations on that.

"You can freak out a month from now", is kind of my mantra for this waiting stuff... I'd actually even prefer a harder, more in-depth process on my end than all of the waiting. 😔

I'm still waiting and anxious. Every time we communicate, they say that they are working on our case and they still do not finish making a decision, which makes it more difficult to wait for all the thoughts that come to my head. But I still have faith to hear something these days that I will be visiting my boyfriend in the USA.

@SkeletonNessa same! This week was really rough for me seeing everyone else get approved.  But I’ve tried to tell myself to give it one more month before I stress again.  It’s just discouraging feeling like I’m one of the unlucky ones.  But a few more weeks or even months shouldn’t matter when we are talking about being together forever.

at least that’s what I’m TRYING to tell myself to calm down.

@SkeletonNessa  igual!

I'm with you!
At some point I have thought loudly: and if I am one of those who gets stuck in the background check for up to a year? But I also know that everything has its time under the sun. It's hard to wait without at least knowing what's going on in there!

Yes that background check scares me. I have 2 DWIs from 14 years ago but I documented them in the application, unfortunately the courts purged those cases long ago since I fulfilled the sentencing.  I’ve also moved around quite a bit in the past 3 years, but I also try to document it all out carefully.

Just not knowing what the hold up is agonizing.

It is distressing! We only have to maintain the faith

My boyfriend told me it’s because he’s Dominican, but I saw another timeline get approved quickly that was Dominican.

As a curtesy to others we advise that you use English in the forums except for the country specific forums where generally the use of that country's language is appropriate and encouraged to be used. Using a language other then English in the general forums handicaps others from learning from your knowledge as offered in any reply from you. If you want to post both English and your native language that would be considered good common etiquette.

If you would like to converse between others who are of the same language there is a great tool in Personal Messaging. Choose the person's name from their profile and then look at the top middle of the next page you land on. You will see the word "message". Select it and there you are now in a private conversation between you and the other person. You can also, draw in others to your conversation. Thank you.

Gracias.

Sorry! This meant: I do not believe it, I have a friend in this forum with the same date of NOA1 and it was approved on the 17th of this month. Only 80 days
