I appreciate your response and I thank you for the initial compliment.   My intent wasn't to be rude.

I believe in the "law of attraction" and it makes me happy to see people who are in the exact same situation that I am in be supportive and helpful to others, with no expectations, and be rewarded  by the universe with positive things happening to them.

No offense intended.  I hope your approval goes through quickly so you can be with the person whom you love.

I’m all about the Law of attraction and I whole heartedly get what you’re saying. Sending positive vibes - always

I just updated and bumped the thread referenced immediately above.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Thanks for posting that @TBoneTX.  I had a discussion with my fiancé last night about the consular interview and me being there on site at the time of the interview, and seeing your post helped re-affirm my decision to be there.

7. There is never a disadvantage to a petitioner's being on the consular premises while the beneficiary is being interviewed. In fact, the advantages are many and distinct. Emotional support for the beneficiary is the minimum. If you the petitioner are on the premises or within range, the consul can call you in to ask questions.  Your ability to provide answers "on the scene" can ward off the issuance of a 221(g) and prevent a return trip to the consulate.

Hello All,

It's nice to read all the comments from all of you. I'm new to this forum and read almost all of the comments/help from all individuals.

I am also on the same boat as others, still waiting for NOA2. NOA1 was Feb 11, 2019. Being patiently waiting for my NOA2. It's really hard not to be with someone you love. She is living other side of the planet and it is not easy for us to visit each other quite often, it has been almost 6 months we physically met and I believe few more months before I can meet her as I can not take vacation every year (work schedule) but I can't wait for my fiance to come to states. All prayers with you guys and eagerly waiting for my petition to move forward :)

p.s. No RFEs yet

Thanks! In the same boat as you. Been waiting since Feb 7. Hopefully we hear something soon.

It is very hard not to be around your loved ones!

All the best and do not forget to update us and ur timeline too!

USPS informed delivery shows I have mail from USCIS coming today (dated 5/17)!  Now the waiting game for the mailman to come begins haha.  Here's to hoping it's good news and not an RFE. 🙏

The new and old websites still show no update so I don't think they're actually up to date.  (I also filled out that form for electronic notification but haven't got anything.)

Hello again!

I was investigating a bit about the steps that are carried out for the adjudication of the case and found some information, which may help us understand a little more to those who are waiting for our NOA2

Some say that if you can see in the envelope the number of pages you could know if it is NOA2
1/1 Page es Noa2 and if it has more pages it is RFE

Thanks for the tip!  It shows "1 of 1" in the envelope window so I'm hopeful!

Some times you can peek thru the envelopes and see the beneficiary name if you can its not a RFE and as you say its one page so most probably its YOUR NOA2  &%$@ the suspense is killing me, I know its got you too!!!!!
