I sent itinerary of flights , Airbnb bookings for both of my visits. Her itinerary for her visit here to the U.S. but no photos. I was a bit skeptical after I sent that but heard that pics where secondary proof. So I was not worrying too much. This time around I'll send passport stamps copies and see if I can find my actual boarding passes. Along with many pics.

Well, sent my RFE response today NDA to CSC. Hope to hear an NOA2 from them in the coming weeks. Wish us luck.😅

Good luck. You’ll be approved soon. I’m happy for you guys.  RFE’s suck, but it’s an indication that someone has touched your case.

I have a quick question.

So I filed with the hard copy and did not make any copies of it.

Also, since I am still waiting for NOA2 since Feb 7!

----Will my fiance need the i-129f copies for the visa interview?

----I am getting worried and wondering how many pics did u guys send as proof of meeting within 2yrs, cus I remember sending only abt 10.

I sent 10 pics, engagement ring pics, engagement reaction from friends/family, hotel reservations, passport stamps, Visa to the country!, fly tickets, itinerary, Western Union money transfers.. I did not send receipt of places we went to or even the ring receipt.

---Will I get a REF?

Did you include only what they asked for in the instructions? Did you follow the VJ guide that lists what is needed as supporting documents?

Documentary Proof of Having Met in Person in the Past Two Years and an Ongoing Relationship:

Use as many of these items are possible. There is no minimum, but the more you can provide the less likely you are that you will receive an RFE. Additionally, please note that providing proof of your ongoing and genuine relationship in this package may benefit you by allowing the consulate to have access to this information prior to them formally contacting the non US Citizen fiance. Many high risk consulates approach cases with a skeptical eye and providing this information early on in the original I-129F package will help them in their preliminary review of your case.

1. Copies of all airline boarding passes, train passes, itineraries, hotel receipts, passport stamps (make sure you can read the dates on the stamps), and other documentary evidence that you have met within the last two years. You may want to highlight or place post-it notes indicating the dates and locations on the copies (to make the adjudication easier) for the person reviewing your file.
2. Color Photo's of you and your fiance together. Make sure you write your names, date, and location on the back of every photo. Provide two to five photo's. If you only have a single copy of the photo, then make a color copy and send that. If it is a digital photo, have it printed at a local photo store such as Walgreens (if at all possible) or if not on a high quality printer. Place photo's in a plastic bag or photo sheet and label the sheet. Note that you may not receive originals of photo's back.
3. The following items will not typically show proof of having met in the last two years however will show proof of an ongoing relationship: Copies of land line and cell phone bills, appropriate letters and emails, stamps on the letters (to document the date they were sent), and other written documentary proof. Provide a reasonable amount; two to four of each type. Pick a range of dates up to and including the present. You can also include a copy of engagement ring receipt (this is something that is a big optional - do not worry if you do not have a ring yet!)

Go to the blue ribbon at the top of this page and click on guides.  Then look for I-129f application for K1. There you'll find helpful information. There is a ton of information on VJ. Just have to get out and look around.

Thank you. I just checked and I am good to good. This site is so amazing. Everything is fine. But I did not send my birth certificate or my fiance's either. Is that ok?

One last quest!

So my fiance says there are issues in getting new birth certificate bc it got lost. Will that be an issue during the interview?

Sooner or later, likely in the AOS phase of the process, the beneficiary will have to send in a copy of their birth certificate. This requirement is stated in the VJ K1/K3 Guide and the USCIS Form I-485 instructions.

I noticed that Tuesday and Thursdays are the days most of the approvals are communicated / updated on USCIS's website, so looking forward for a productive day today :)
