Hi!

My fiancè submitted the I-129f form last May 8 and we got the NOA1 on May 16. However, we did not include a "how we met" story; even for the Part 2 item 54, we only put when we met in person and how long he stayed here. Now that I think about it we did not specifically say that we have been together for 2 years (we met online) and we got engaged a month after his visit here. Would this be a problem? We assumed they only asked for the circumstances of meeting and evidence that we were physically together within the required period.

They dont want you're love story. Just a light dusting to how you met. Want you submitted sounds like you met their requirements.  No need to worry. BTW I hope you included signed letters of intent from the two of you.

Frustrated by the process of waiting for the NOA2, I sent emails to both my senators, my congresswomen, and the White House.

My Senators ignored  my emails, my congresswomen called me back but told me “unless it was an emergency they couldn’t help me.” The White House actually emailed me back (it took a month but they are busy)

The White House fwd my case to the USCIS and I got a response this morning. They explained the long wait time and gave me the current October processing time listed on the USCIS webpage.

it was nice the White House took the steps to fed my request to the USCIS even if it didn’t change anything.

I wouldn’t get too antsy just yet. This is a lengthy process and from the progress that I have been seeing on this website USCIS has been cutting wait times exponentially. You are still well within processing time. I would not expect that  your efforts to reach out did anything at all. Do you have an unusual circumstance that requires expedition?  Just curious.

The irony is that based on their time line, it looks like they got their I-129 approval on that very same day.

But we are still in normal processing time. Do not worry that soon we will know something, without the need for the congressmen to help us, we have slate dates only have faith.

I do not work for the government, they work for me. If I have a worker at my business that makes me wait then I will fire him. If my banker tells me I can have MY money in 5-7 months I will fire the bank. If my elected officials will not serve me I will fire them. Change your mindset and expect better from those that serve you.
