K-1 Visa Timeline

I-129F K-1 Petition sent to USCIS :         Feb-16-2019

Receipt no. received via sms:                   Feb-19-2019

NOA 1 via mail:                                     Feb-22-2019

I am from Philippines but currently residing in Kingdom of Bahrain, I want to know if the approvals of the petition depends on which country the beneficiary is from?

Also, I would like to know when is the estimated date of interview for February 2019 filers.

Hoping someone could help me.

Thank you!

Once your case arrives at NVC they will assigned a case number according to where you said you were residing. So if that was Bahrain then that is where you interview will take place. Is Bahrain where you want to have your interview or the Philippines?

I'm sure everyone is already well organised and on top of everything - but while we wait for our NOA2s, don't forget to have everything ready to go for the next stage.

I didn't realise I was so behind on my vaccinations - getting 3 boosters done tomorrow! Especially if you live somewhere where it can be hard to get a doctor's appointment, better to do it asap than wait so you're ready to go. I believe that us Brits need a 'medical summary' and obtaining one can vary between locations, so I'm going to ask about that tomorrow too.

And valid passports, birth certificates and any other important documents that have a longer expiry (waiting to get my police certificate as I think the UK one is only valid for 6 months). Already got a fresh passport (mine was almost expired) and birth certificate (parents lost the original). The birth certificate actually took almost 2 months to arrive because apparently there's a 'backlog'.

Is there anything else important I'm forgetting about that can be taken care of now rather than later?

My to-do list also includes a few dentist's appointments :)

I will be doing the interview here in Bahrain. So basically ill be coming from Bahrain to California

According to Visa Journey calculator, our case will be adjudicated between May 28 2019 to June 6 2019. I would like to know whats their percentage of accuracy?

0% to 100%. No one can say when it will be adjudited.

Good morning everyone. I woke up today to an email letting me know that an action had been taken. Upon logging onto the site, I see that it has been approved! I submitted the paperwork on 02/19/19 and NOA1 on 02/25/19, so this came much earlier than I was expecting. A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. Good luck to everyone else!

February  is still hot for approvals. Congrats....
