Hello, so happened to find this forum and i'm so excited to see that you are also filing in Feb 2019. Yeah!

I'm a K1 beneficiary from Hong Kong. My fiancé sent out the I-129F package on Saturday afternoon, 2019-02-09 and via DHL tracker, our package was received and signed on Monday morning 2019-02-11, and NOA1 received on 2019-02-14. What a valentine's day gift for us!

Currently we are patiently waiting for NOA2 and VJ timeline forecasts that we will likely be receiving NOA2 between June 12, 2019 and June 19, 2019. We are actually worried that the NOA2 will approve too early! As we planned to have our wedding ceremony in US on 2020-02-01 and reserved a church venue, we worry that if K1 approves early and we might be at risk of it expiring.

Could anyone advise how do K1 start date and expiry date count? Does the K1 start date count from issuing date or from the date of entry to US? Is it valid for 6 months? And how do they count the 90 days that you must get marry?

Thanks everyone!

Actually you have 6 months to enter the US starting the date of your medical. As soon as you enter you have 90 days to get married.

Hello fellow February 2019 filers 😀

I am a UK beneficary filed: 19/02/19

NOA1 received in the mail: 05/03/19

with a notice date of: 26/02/19.

My timeline is currently predicting the next step to be between June 26th and July 3rd. I have noticed it is decreasing as the weeks go by as it was originally late July-early August so that is encouraging. I sure hope everyone is keeping their timelines updated to help with the accuracy of this data! 👍🏽

So far I feel pretty calm while waiting, how is everyone else keeping busy and preparing for the next steps? 😁

I am due to go back to the US to see my fiancé next month for a 4 week trip for his birthday and to spend some time with my family members who live near him in WA. I’m a little biased but the Pacific Northwest is beautiful.

If there is anything I can be doing in preparation for the next steps, I would love to hear from anyone who has knowledge of this. I will of course do my own research too but I think writing on this post will help others who may ask the same question sometime soon too! Just trying to be proactive too. 👍🏽

This is officially my first ever forum post on here and also on any forum altogether!! Lol. So I hope I’m following forum etiquette. Please give me a gentle nudge admin if I’m not using this correctly. 🙊

Good luck wishes being sent to you guys! The very best is yet to come ♥️

Hey doll,

also UK folk with an noa1 of 2/28! Can’t wait for the second one to come. When are you traveling next month? I’m heading out may 1st thru 28th and head back out June 10th for another 6 weeks. Hopefully approval lands in that time ❤️. My fiancé is originally from Boston but his family moved to Florida so that’s where he is ☺️

Hey there!  It's great to meet people in the same boat, from the same destination, headed to the same(ish) future! ☺️

It sounds like you have an exciting spring and summer planned with vacations. I've been to Orlando and Miami in FL and think the sunshine state is beautiful!

I am leaving the UK on May 8th and returning June 6th. I haven't seen my fiance and our dog since I spent 6 weeks there over Christmas and New Year, so I sure am looking forward to being reunited with my boys! 😍  I'll be keeping my fingers, toes and eyes crossed for you that you get NOA2 while you are on U.S soil so that you can celebrate in person together.

I'm new to this site so I'm not sure if there is a way to private message each other but if you know if that's possible, feel free to reach out anytime. Would be lovely to keep in touch.  All the best 😘

Hopefully we start hearing soon! My NOA 1 was Feb 14th (nice Valentine's present). We would have filed earlier but wanted to be with my fiance's family for the holidays and visit some of my family in the US afterwards, so didn't manage to send everything off until after our trips when I left.

How is everyone else keeping busy / not going crazy? I'm starting to wonder how I'm going to move all my stuff - I've been trying really hard to downsize!

And the many questions from friends and family about 'when's the wedding'.. 'we don't know yet, I guess when the government says so!' 😂

LOL! same thing i'm being asked everyday "When's the wedding" ? As for me i'm leaving mostly everything behind except my car which I am selling 😐. My biggest concern is [when do I resign from work]

Smart idea, and hopefully you can give your friends and family answers really soon, since Jan NOAs are starting to get approved really fast! I may have to stash a lot of things at my parents' house but at risk of my mum throwing it away.. so will take what I can get away with!

For me it seems to be mostly older relatives not understanding the process and asking 'so can we book our tickets to come over for the wedding yet?!' - hopefully soon though!

Thanks to the link to the new site.  I now have two accounts. :D

Interestingly the new site has a different case received date than the old one.  Old: 02/04/19  New: 02/07/19.

I updated my timeline to 02/07/19 for now.  Anyone else see a difference between the two sites if you have an account on both?

Whoops! Got confused on topics.  This is what I'm referring to:

Old Site: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

New Site: https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/

Sorry about that!
