Hi everyone,

Does anyone here know about or have any experience with doing a k1 with a fiance i. Kazakhstan? Is processing time affected by country?

Just seeing how so many petitions are getting approved quickly it makes me have a hope but then again who knows? Someone on this forum is a Kazakhstani and their petition was received back in December but they still havent gotten any NOA2. 😨

Expand

haven't received my NOA2, NOA1 from December 28 and i didn't hear anything from USCIS yet

but here some information that i found on one of the topics here https://www.visajourney.com/content/adjudicator-q-and-a/

so i guess it doesn't matter what country are you from :)

hope everyone will get their NOA2 soon :)

Eeeeeek hope we are all holding up well! This time next week I’ll be down in Heathrow in my hotel ready to set off to RSW To see my fiancé in possibly his busiest wedding season ever.. however.. I’ve a) extended my trip and b ) will be back out there June 10th for 6 weeks!!

in the middle of there I’m hoping there will be a few NOA2s for us. I’ve been apart from Jeremy for two months this weekend and can truly say it’s been the hardest two months of my life..

we’ve got this guys

xxxxxx

I've went through a 2 months away period and it was brutal on both of us...now it's only 5 weeks away, 2 weeks together then 3 weeks away and 2 weeks together again :)

you lucky to manage spend 6 weeks together with your fiancee :)

Guys / Gals,

I started to see January apps processed at the beginning of April, my guess is that February submissions will be processed within a week :)

I bet USCIS needed more revenue and also got a target to reduce the processing timeline to 3 months, which we almost achieved.

May is our month, I'm getting ready to celebrate at the end of the month :) ...(I'm Feb 25th dated)

...and to comment on the improvement on the processing, it is certainly refreshing. 2 months ago I expected a 6-7 month wait and this is how I set my fiancee's expectation, so we are both very excited to see the process moving faster!

I am also from February 25, thinking how fast they are going is fascinating, although I put my expectations for the end of July. But it would be very happy if it arrives earlier

Omg!! I am getting very excited. NOA1 was received on Feb 4 2019 (new site) & Feb 7 2019 (old site)..... Hoping NOA2 arrives as early as expected. Woooohhh!!! Keep praying!!!! 😀

Yay! Our case just got approved!

Approved on 04/23/19 according to the old site. Just got the notification a few minutes ago.

I'm thrilled and this has happened so much sooner than I expected. My latest VisaJourney estimate was 06/07/19!

Here's to hoping everyone else gets theirs approved soon!

Edit - no RFE either, which is a relief.

Current Milestones (on my timeline too)

I-129F Filing: 02/01/19

NOA1: 02/04/19

So is! I just do not want to have my expectations too high to be prepared in case the estimated time of USCIS lasts ... But of course if it arrives on this date estimated by VJ or before I will celebrate even more. Hehehe
