G&A can you please add me to the list. I would be very grateful. Thanks

Keep your hopes up Deb, your approval will be coming soon :) The delay on yours might be because it took 2 additional months for the I129F to reach the service centre. John & Celia posted theirs together with the I130 (they are the first case on G&As list that have done so).

Thanks! I think what got them to approve it was that I recently changed my stateside address, probably ended up putting the application on the top of the pile instead of the bottom (thanks to all the VJr's for that trick ;) ) so I hope to see the approval for the I-129f soon too. Since I sent in both applications at the same time they may have ordered them by I-129f dates instead of I-130 dates....who knows. Good luck to you, you'll be seeing something soon!!

Thank you everyone.. I guess we will just be waiting some more.. Actually, I went to that site already (Thank you, John and Celia), and also emailed the government website about security checks for my wife to read about too.. so I feel better in that everyone is getting "checked".. it is just that my name happen to match against someone else.. It's just that I already work for the government as my occupation (and stated on my I-130/I-129F).. guess that really doesn't make a difference with them.. haha.. they want to do everything multiple times just for their enjoyment.. :unsure:

Congrats grrrrlygrrrl!! :thumbs::dance:

YAHOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

WE GOT OUR APPROVAL FOR BOTH I-129F AND I-130 TODAY!!!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF YOU WHO ALSO GOT YOURS!

BEST WISHES TO EVERYONE!!!!!!

Keep your hopes up gogo

:crying:

You can try the expedite, but I would think they would reject the notion since you are well within the processing times for both I129F and I130. You sent the I129F in July and the I130 in May? right

Thanks again everyone!!! However my happiness is partial, since only my I-130 was approved. They told me that my I-129F was still pending because it was sent 2 months appart from my I-130!!! Which makes me furious....like it was my fault that the CSC had "COMPUTER PROBLEMS" in sending out NOAs...

My priority was to get my husband here ASAP....and that was through the K3...I guess I can kiss it goodbye now (if they don't approve soon).

Do you think I can qualify for expedite process? At the USCIS website it tells you can request if there was a USCIS error. I don't know what to do anymore...I am tired of waiting.

Thanks everyone.

Melissa, I hope your approvals are around the corner. They are processing I129Fs well after your date, I wonder what the hold up is? I thought by sending them together, you were going to get approved ahead of a bunch of us who sent the I130 in April and waited for the NOA1

Congrats on all the approvals...mine should come through real quick now (mailed out 5/31)....G&A, when will we have an updated chart? I'd like to see where I stand in comparison with the other applicants, since I sent in both forms at the same time. It'd be interesting to see if having sent in the I-130 earlier than the I-129f makes a significant difference. Thanks!

I sent in both forms at the same time at the end of April and I don't see any significant differences, I'm still waiting for my NOA 2's. I think that no matter what you do nothing can speed up your process, we are all in the hands of the slow service centers especially California Service Center.....

Divine, are they still going to adjudicate the I129F or will they eventually notify you that they won't because you no longer have a pending underlying I130 which is required to get an I129F approved? This happened to Neenuh. :wacko:

Thanks again everyone!!! However my happiness is partial, since only my I-130 was approved. They told me that my I-129F was still pending because it was sent 2 months appart from my I-130!!! Which makes me furious....like it was my fault that the CSC had "COMPUTER PROBLEMS" in sending out NOAs...

YGandMAT.. don't believe everything they tell you. Hang on to some hope. Who told you that? Was it one of those idiots that answer the phones or did you get a real USCIS worker? If I were you, I'd wait a few days and see if the I-129F catches up, if not, do whatever it takes. Try to get it expedited, what's it going to hurt to try? Call your congressman.. do whatever you have to (within legal limits of course). At least you won't feel like a puppet waiting for the puppet master to decide your fate anymore. I called my US Rep two weeks ago. When I called for the 3rd time to find out if they are working on my case they were annoyed that I was interrupting them while they watched the Price is Right (yes it was blaring in the background) they informed me that the "guy" who handles that was out of the office.. I got that line every time. I finally just called my Senator's office and they seem to be more serious. Hopefully I'll hear something in the next few days. Of course I came up with a possible reason for them to intervene not just that I'm tired of waiting. Everyday is a struggle waiting helplessly. If expediting was a possible option for me, I'd try it.

Congrats John and Celia! :dance::thumbs:

Thanks for the updated timeline G&A, but you're gonna have to change it again because WE'VE BEEN APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!! Approval notice November 6th, 2007 for the I-130!!!!!!!!!! Now we'll see what happens with the I-129f.....THANKS FOR ALL THE ENCOURAGEMENT EVERYONE!!!!!! I may not know people personally, but just being part of this forum for the last month has given me soooo much more insight and hope. Good luck to all of us on our journeys!

Hmm, was the touch generated by the call? Did you give them just the I130 receipt number? May not be real.

Hello John and Celia & C & J,

I just looked on USCIS website and they touched my I-130 today. However, my I-129F was not touched. Could it be???? I pray and hope so! Thanks for your encouragement and continue to pray for the rest of us that are still waiting. Congratulations to both of you!!!!!!

Actually, I applied I-130 on 4/13, and I-129F on 6/4... it's from my signature below.. so supposedly I should have been approved by now.. Even people in May are being approved.. it is just all because of the "additional security checks".. :wacko:
