Hello everyone!!!

I'm just curious...no new approvals today? I was looking forward seeing a lot of Monday approvals...

Come on CSC...give us our approvals...we are waiting!!! I've noticed VSC has started approving June filers...wow, I wish my case was at VSC!!!

I mentioned in another thread, I don't think that Monday's, the first day of the new work week are always good days to see a lot of action out of a government office with respect to processing case files. Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, we should see the flow of approvals start up again.

One last comment as an FYI. I read your time line here and yes, it was true about the computer delays in getting out the NOA-1's for the I-130's back in May and June. I got wind of this at the time I mailed my I-130 in early May, and when the NOA-1 did not show up when expected, I phoned the CSC and spoke a very nice female VIO who also advised there was a computer problem in generating the NOA-1 receipts in a timely manner. She told me she would order (2nd request) the NOA-1's again for me. But she added that it would take two weeks for them to arrive. I asked her if I could send in the photo copies of my canceled fee checks for the I-130's with the WAC #'s on the back, along with a copy of my USCIS Protfolio info from their webpage, as evidence in lieu of the receipt form. She told me this would be ok, and to try it. I did and I had my NOA-1 for my I-129F (for K-3) one week later !!! Therefore, I did not have to wait for the copy of the NOA-1 to arrive in the mail to attach to the I-129F. I was able to file sooner and stay ahead of the delays caused by the earlier computer issue; of course, until this lastest delay glitch over the NOA-2's.

Congratulations Urge!! Great to see another approval :D

Jesus, my husband just called the immigration telephone number… what a bunch of ''babacas''. They also told to him that our 129F and 130 will be approved on the same day…. IN FEBRUARY.

How they can know if will be aprrove the both at the same day?

EVERY DAY...i am more upset....

Please don't let this process upset you. Every day that goes by is 1 day closer to your approval :) It is a horrible process to endure but one day we will all be past this and enjoying life with our significant other :)

While I do not know the date USCIS will approve your case, we do know that they are currently pairing both petititions up and are (generally) approving I130 & I129Fs together. You can see from the recent approvals in the thread that this is the case. USCIS are then holding onto the I130 for adjustment of status (unless consular processing was specified and even then it seems sketchy as to whether USCIS pays attention to it) and forwarding the I129F to the NVC.

Please remember that the USCIS say that they have 6 months to process a case and are really sticking to that at the moment (gone are the days when lucky people got approved in 2-3 months :( ). I have said it before but it is much easier to get through this process if you over-estimate each step. Please please don't under-estimate and get let down each time a date slides...

For mine, I have allowed:-

6 months for USCIS (which was almost spot-on)

1 month for NVC (this might be longer, looking at the March-April filers still waiting for their case to be transferred)

2 months for the embassy (this is average UK time from receipt to interview).

Even though that is 9 months, I have still estimated 10 months. If the approval comes in sooner I will be ecstatic but that means the only date that I have cared about for most of this process is the estimated approval in Feb 2008. It is much easier for me to set my sights on a date far away than stress myself out about the delays that always seem to happen :(

Just wondering....did anyone else take advantage of the new rule of sending in the I-130 and I-129F at the same time? Looking at G&A's timetable I don't see anyone else....any thoughts on whether or not the I-129f will come out faster than the I-130? Or will they delay it and wait until the I-130 is processed?

Receiving no touches is not a bad sign, some petitions don't get touched until close to their approval dates, some don't even get touched at all. There is no need to worry. They're still working on early May petitions, so you are probably still 3 or so weeks away from approval, going by the current approval rate. Keep your hopes up :)
