Priority Date I-130 : 4/16/2007 ( 533 days , APPROVED 9/22/2008)
Transferred to local office based on "security checks" : 11/27/2007
wrote hundreds of letters - received letter from FBI Records Management Chief stating no security checks
local office interview : 2/21/2008 - brought my parents too (result : you will get approval within 2-3 weeks)
5/2/2008 - (lawsuit) Writ of Mandamus - OFFICIAL DATE (7/29/2008)
9/22/2008 - CALL AND EMAIL COPY OF APPROVAL NOTICE FROM LAWYER

NVC STAGE 2 : 99 days - 3 months (9/30/2008 to 1/7/2009)
NVC Received : 9/30/2008
Received Packet 3 (I-864/DS-230) : 11/10/2008
NVC says "RFE sent out 12/9/08 for missing documents" : 12/10/2008

Good memory! We decided to go for the K3. I think they may have lost my I-129F between Missouri and Vermont for about three months... I've asked my Congressman to look into it, hopefully by next week I'll find out something. CSC is actually starting to do some work wooooo hoooooo. Now the ppl at Vermont seem to be taking a break :( It's so nice to see the people who have really endured so many months start to get moving along again! It's like a little approval for all of us when one of us gets squeezed through the process! That's how it will be when your approval comes in (in the near future ;) ).

Sorry been out of touch for a week.... it is nice to see some friends in the same USCIS glutch finally getting approved........

Congratulations ...... C and J, EDP, Silver Fuel, SongKim, JimBob, James and Rachel, BacBac and anyone else I missed!

I look at this as the USCIS treating us like babies....

129F and 130 approvals.... we get to drink from a bottle instead of the nipple

USCIS sends paperwork to NVC .... we get to say mommy and daddy

I can t wait to be toilet trained so I can sh*t on my own !

Checked the USCIS site this morning and it's finally happened: APPROVED 25th October :D:dance: No email confirmation yet, just the website updated... looking forward to having it on paper when Josh gets them in the mail :)

Now only 6 more weeks and I'll finally be out of USCISs clutches :whistle:

7.30.07 - Received NOA1

11.21.07 - APPROVED!!!! APPROVED. GOT AN E-MAIL ON THANKSGIVING!

03.03.08- INTERVIEW IN CIUDAD JUAREZ. VISA GRANTED ON 03.03.2008
