Hey G&A, thanks for the add...I don't have the info about the transfer, but it did get transferred to CSC, even though I applied at the same time....I'll try and call USCIS about it (and maybe get a touch hehe) and then I'll let you know...no activity since July, though, so nothing really to report anyway....

The estimated times are pretty accurate, however they do it. My estimated time was off by 1 day, I think. I just got my approval and we're both excited. Obviously, we have to go the K-3 route now which means more immigration B.S. once wifey is here...but at least she is here .

Well, the table is acurate because the dates keep changing. . . are people looking at it? My date on the table was End of September. . . and then, it changed in September to late October. . . which feels like #######. . . and then, it just moved again to end of October. . . so don't tell me that the timeline is awesome and so acurate alright? it builds up hope but, I have to say, at least it helps people wait moths. . and then, weeks, . . and then days. . like a cookie on a string. At least you got near the cookie. . . . just don't try to grab it.

My journey has been frustrating so thanks for letting me vent.

Good luck everyone who has a better situation and a country that people can survive in, while waiting.

Hey, I got an touch on my I-129F today and yesterday (10/16/07 and 10/17/07). It hasn't been touched since 7/28. What does this means? Are there looking at it because this is back to back touches. In the USCIS website the dates updated but no word changes in the profile. I'm very curious in what is going on now. Can someone explain please clarify, Thanks!

We are all going through the same thing *hugs*. However, G&As estimates are based on the VJ estimates. So when the site estimates move, the dates on the spreadsheet also move. I have had mine slip many times too but I have never pinned my hopes on the dates being correct. The NOA2 will arrive when it arrives. Remember that an estimate is just that... an estimate... it is not something set down in concrete and should never be viewed as such.

I have said it before, but I set an over-estimate for my visa completion (Feb 2008) so even with these slipups, it's not going to impact that date too much (because I allowed "buffer space" for any problems along the way). If it gets closer to February and it doesn't look like it will be ready in time, then I will feel let down. But by that point I will be many more months along in the process.

Don't pin your hopes on an exact date... because this process will continuously let you down and the emotional hurt will just increase. It's hard to be away from your loved one but the wait will be worth it

I got transferred to CSC where it's being processed now. Don't know any more about the transfer dates and details. I'll try to find out. I have not received a touch since June 27th. Please take a peek at my timeline for filing and NOA1 dates.

It's been hard but on the bright side, my husband's coming down for a few days next month. Suddenly waiting till November has gotten much easier.

VJ has been such a blessing leading me to questions that I never thought of and answers that noone offered with clarity before. I am so relieved that there are masses of people who share my concerns and frustrations. It has become a retreat for me now and I am so thankful for this little online community. Great job, y'all, for contributing to such a site and helping to keep the morale high.

If you are fortunate, both petitions will arrive at the US embassy/consulate around the same time. If they do, then you can request that your K3 interview becomes the CR1 interview. This is an opportunity I would want.

I just checked my email and as of 11:45 October 19 our I129F has been approved !!!!!!

I guess they wanted me to know they sent it twice I already called Marivic and I think she is still screaming with joy.
