Congrats Java.

I updated the table to show 3 groups. The first and largest group is for the I-129Fs being process at CSC. The second group is for the I-129Fs being precessed at VSC. The 3rd groups is the ones i am unsure about.

Thanks again G&A I love the new timeline. I can't help but wonder how it is possible they approve some who applied after others. I read that post from the guy who used to work at a service center. He explained how it's done. They all go in separate boxes by date rec'd. Every morning they each go and take some cases out of the newest dates box and get to work. I'm guessing those approved who applied later got pulled out of the box by a good worker and the rest of ours are sitting on the desks of a long lunch taking, chatty, slouches.

Congrats to all those who have been approved already!! You give us all hope that there is some work happening at the service centers!

It's October now.. LETS START SEEING THE REST OF THE APPROVALS ROOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLL IN!!!!

Hello all... are we all hanging in there ? Im doing my best, but some days are harder than others.

Although I am still waiting for my NOA2s after over 136 days for my I-130 and 106 days for my I-129f, I decided to start getting my packet 3 things ready. I went for my police certificate which took all of 5 minutes after getting downtown. It will be mailed to me next week. 32$, US tax deductable /dance I also took an appointment to have my vaccinations looked over and get the ones that are necessary if no longer valid. Other than that everything is ready I believe. I just hope that the certificate is valid for about 6-8 months since interviews in Montreal take 4-6 months to schedule... oh well, I'll know where to get em, and that it's quick and not too expensive.

Aside from that, I've been boggled by some statistics. I found this great site for calculating dates : http://www.timeanddate.com/date/dateadd.html

So I've been playing with the date calculator and using the average dates as of Oct. 2nd on the statistics portion of the timelines page.

So according to statistics, my I-130 should be approved Nov. 22nd and interview should be Jan.26th 2008(or date I recieve visa?).

According to statistics, my I-129f should have been Sept. 14th which would make my interview around Feb. 24th.

According to my timeline and statistics, my I-129f should be approvedd Nov. 14th(and keeps going further every day) which would make my interview April 25th.

So basically, I can hope for a interview between late January(doubtful) and the starting of May... /sigh And here we went with K3 because it was supposed to be faster.

/rant off

Anyways, I hope that the calculator can be of help to others to somewhat give you an idea of when you could have an interview.

The way I calculated was

I-130 NOA1 - NOA2 @ CSC = 183 days

I-130 NOA1 - Interview = 248 days

I-129f NOA1 - NOA2 @ CSC = 88 days

Another Stat for I-129f NOA1 - NOA2 @ CSC = 97 days

I-129f NOA2 - NVC Recieve = 17 days

NVC processing = 3 days

NVC - Consulate = 6 days

Montreal Consulate K3 - Interview = 137 days

Married! 03/19/2007

I-130 Process

10/30/2007 : APPROVED!!!! (in 190 days)

I-129f Process

10/30/2007 : APPROVED!!!! (in 151 days)

02/08/2008 : Interview (Approved!)

02/18/2008 : Visa in Hand :D

02/26/2008 : Moved to Colorado

I-751 Lifting of Conditions

06/01/2010 : Completed packet for I-751

06/04/2010 : Mailed packet via UPS

06/07/2010 : Receipt for I-751

08/18/2010 : Biometrics appointment

08/20/2010 : Approved

02/09/2011 : Contacted congressman due to non-receipt of card

03/28/2011 : Card received!

I'd suggest you don't use the visajourney averages for CSC for the I129Fs. Reason being is that some people have been lucky enough to have their (recent) I129F paired with their (much older) I130 JUST before approval, so it's screwed the averages up.

A recent example of this, is a person who applied for the I130 in April but didn't send their I129F until August, and had both of them approved in Sept. While very lucky for them, this skewed the figures greatly :( What we DO know is that the CSC are still approving petitions from early April and MOST people are fast approaching the 6 month processing time and still waiting for the NOA2 :(

It has also been said by the March filers that CSC are taking several weeks to actually send the petitions to NVC, so this is also adding to the NVC processing times :(

Sorry it's not happy news, but it's better to have a more reliable estimate. After all, it's better to be pleasantly surprised when your expectations are exceeded, than feel continuously let down when the dates slide.
