Hey all, I just got a letter..rather..a packet in the mail from the Dept of State NVC (Portsmouth, NH). The packet indicates an AOS (Affidavit of Support) Fee Bill. It says that I must send a money order or cashier's check (no personal checks allowed) in the amount of $70.00 back to NVC (St. Louis, MO) before they can further process my case. They emphasize that I do not send my I-864 Affidavit of Support forms with the payment as it will cause delays in processing. They gave me a new case number too that begins with MNL (I'm presuming Manila) I bring this up for two points: 1. Is this a product of the USCIS trying to speed things up a little? 2. Has anyone else received this notice or am I the only one? just curious

So do I130s and I129s get paired off arbitrarily? because it seems like some people have them both approved at the same time and yet others have one approved but not the other for a long time

davejaz, it is very interesting to note that your 129F got sent to VSC on 7/24 and then sent in turn to NVC on 9/11 to catch up with your I130 for a K-3. I am also wondering why you do not have an approval for the 129F.

hello all!!!!

I checked the USCIS site today and they are sending me the NOA-2 for both the I-130 and I-129F. Both are approved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh by goodness! What do I do now??? Please help!!!

After 62 days waiting !!!!!!

I just want to let everybody know that our RFE nigthmare is almost over.

According to the USCIS a new fresh letter was posted on 18th Sep straight away to my husband`s PO BOX adress.

The only thing that we still have to deal with ...... TIME

The clock did not stop since 16th July when we first got the information about that so we have just 3 weeks from now to send the papers back.

We are sure we can provide what they are asking for.

We hope we will be back on road next week

I will be back here too telling you all what exactly they are asking for that we are sure will be a minor thing or little mistake, perhaps our experience will help the others to do not have to face the same situation.

So now Congrats to all couples from this group that are having theirs cases approved We will be there soon too !!

Our challenge ... get the letter on Monday ( God help us ) send the papers on the same day and try to relax because our life has been a nightmare in the past 65 days.

Its not arbitrary, they really do try to pair the petition. Neenuh's I129F was filed very late, and may not even be openned and receipted due to the receipting frontlog. They processed her I130 on the CR1 timeline, which seems to get I130s through a little faster than K3s.

You are not the only person going through these feelings. I am suffering immensely from the wait and I actually am on my 2nd petition. I just wanna be with the man I love and this is painful and hard for me

You just got the first pieces of mail that are associated with the CR1/IR1 process from NVC. NVC is processing your I130. Your signature says your I129F went to NVC on 9/11, but it doesn't say it was approved. Was it? If not, then you may be in the same situation as neenuh, an approved I130 not paired with your I129F which was filed much later. Your I129F is still waiting USCIS adjudication and if you pay these bills you are taking the first step toward the CR1 (which is a 4-6 month NVC process).

Lets just hope that this coming week we see the rest of April and some May people approved. It's hard to have an idea of what exactly is going on since there are very few people in this forum compared to how many applications are actually pending though.

I wonder which filers they're working on right now
