I checked the USCIS site today and they are sending me the NOA-2 for both the I-130 and I-129F. Both are approved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh by goodness! What do I do now??? Please help!!!

I checked the USCIS site today and they are sending me the NOA-2 for both the I-130 and I-129F. Both are approved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh by goodness! What do I do now??? Please help!!!

After 62 days waiting !!!!!!

I just want to let everybody know that our RFE nigthmare is almost over.

According to the USCIS a new fresh letter was posted on 18th Sep straight away to my husband`s PO BOX adress.

The only thing that we still have to deal with ...... TIME

The clock did not stop since 16th July when we first got the information about that so we have just 3 weeks from now to send the papers back.

We are sure we can provide what they are asking for.

We hope we will be back on road next week

I will be back here too telling you all what exactly they are asking for that we are sure will be a minor thing or little mistake, perhaps our experience will help the others to do not have to face the same situation.

So now Congrats to all couples from this group that are having theirs cases approved We will be there soon too !!

If you call ten times, in the same day, with the same question, you will heard 10 different answer!!

earlier, the husband called USCIS to ask about our K3 NOA and was told to wait for 90 days due to the backlog

he was also questioned why the packet was sent to CSC when it should have been to chicago...

So apparently the wait is getting longer, if anything. At this rate the people who filed in September who will go to CSC will get their visas in September 2008! That's just amazing. The whole point of the K3 for married people was to expedite the process in order to reunite families of American citizens. Also, there are many of us who paid quite a bit of money to file the I-129. We paid for a service we are not receiving. Is that even legal?

For an American citizen it is not a privilege to be with his family, it's a right.

I wonder if they're doing anything at all to try to fix the huge lag. Do they not care? Do they not have the resources?

Someone really needs to go to D.C. and raise some hell.

I would like to give my congrats to those who got approved...It is so discourageing see others approved and nothing happening on our case sometimes I just don't want to check just so I don't see that nothing has happenedit just is not fair to be put through this by the powers at be....my best wishes to all on the rest of your journey to happiness.

Hello All ...

I got an email from USCIS today ... My 129f case status has changed to "This case is now pending at the office it was sent" ... I know its not as exciting as receiving NO2 but its very comforting that they found my 129f ... I had not heard anythign from VSC at all and was thinking they never received my file from NVC in July ... and my update date for 130 changed from june to today! Its probably because they found my 129f but still ... I m glad to be on track ... Finally the website status has changed!!! Thank god !!!

I will keep you all posted ... Valticp ... i know v have same dates ... hope u will hear something soon too ...

Thanks, this is just so frustrating... everyone's lives are on hold here. Jobs, school, etc... and this just shouldn't be the case. And I know we shouldn't trust the government to do anything right or promptly or to even make sense, but I can't help but feel extremely let down by the system

IT IS CLEAR THAT THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT CARE HOW LONG THEY KEEP FAMILY MEMBERS APART ....IT IS NOT THEIR CONCERN......MAYBE IF THEY WHERE TO BE PAID BY THEIR PERFORMANCE IT WOULD MAKE A DIFFERENCE....BUT THIS WAITING IS REALLY STARTING TO DRAG ME DOWN EVERY DAY...I JUST WISH IT WOULD END
