Our I-130 and I-129F applications were approved 4 Sep 2007. I received the e-mails late last night.

To note, I did send letters to every office of my Representative and two Senators, about 13 letters in total. My Representative's response indicated they didn't do much more than I could have from their feedback; however, one of the Senator's very well could have made a difference, after some specific prayers for approval.

Good luck in your continued journey. At first I was in minor shock and disbelief, along with a lot of joy. Now I'm focused already on what is next.

God bless,

Robin

(G, your chart, for me, was off by 1 day!)

Congrats to you too Robin! Again good to see the Philippines visas processing through ;)

yeah.. you are right =) sorry about that... so is the CSC the slowest of them all? They help others in approving different applications, yet get bogged down themselves.. if they can't even approve their own applications, they shouldn't help out other service centers.. or maybe other ones should help out CSC... :crying: :crying:

The strategic plan by USCIS to even out the load between CSC and VSC and speed up the process by specializing. It doesn't take a MBA to realize the strategic plan needs attention!

They are so stupid, they put a quarter in a parking meter and wait for a gumball to come out.

They are so stupid, they got fired from the M&M factory for throwing away all the W's. (that's why they work for USCIS now)

They are so stupid, when they missed the 44 bus, they took the 22 twice instead.

They are so stupid, they think Taco Bell is a Mexican Phone Company.

just some jokes to relieve the tension... :D

Hey G&A got a lil news. The website finally went from "you're case was sent to Vermont" to "your case if now PENDING"!!! It only too from July 12 - Sept. 7 but I'll take it! I've spent almost two months thinking the I-129F was lost somewhere. Now I want to know, WAS it lost and now it's found? Am I at the back of the line? Was the rec'd date back in July and they just got around to updating the website? Too many questions to ponder. I'm just happy I'm not lost WOOO HOOOO

also, I'm thinking about having the I-130 sent back from the NVC to Vermont. I can't take the stress of one case let alone two! I know in the long run the CR1 is the better option but right now my son wants his daddy and so do I!!! I'd rather worry about the future in a future in which he's standing next to me.

Anyone know how to have the NVC send it back to the VSC?

I am glad your I-129F finally made it. At this point, assuming you want to go the K-3 route, i would do 2 things... 1) do not pay any bills you get from the NVC since they are related to the I130 and CR-1 processing. 2) call uscis and tell them your plan is to wait for the k-3 approval and ask them to note it in your file. you need to make sure you get transferred to an immigration officer.

btw, this is exactly what i would do.

The K-3 process is still faster even if the 129F approval has been delayed several months. It is not the cheapest route though.

PS this thread has some more info on this http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=75686

Thanks G&A!!!! Cheap schmeap, money is no object when it comes to having my hubby here.. I'm happy you agree with that! I will do just what you suggest (assuming my husband wants to also forget the CR1 option). Thanks so much for everything!!
