Our I-130 and I-129F applications were approved 4 Sep 2007. I received the e-mails late last night.

To note, I did send letters to every office of my Representative and two Senators, about 13 letters in total. My Representative's response indicated they didn't do much more than I could have from their feedback; however, one of the Senator's very well could have made a difference, after some specific prayers for approval.

Good luck in your continued journey. At first I was in minor shock and disbelief, along with a lot of joy. Now I'm focused already on what is next.

April filer at CSC getting approve is the best news I have seen in quite a while. Wuhoo. Lets getting going CSC.

yeah.. you are right =) sorry about that... so is the CSC the slowest of them all? They help others in approving different applications, yet get bogged down themselves.. if they can't even approve their own applications, they shouldn't help out other service centers.. or maybe other ones should help out CSC... :crying: :crying:

Congratulations on your approvals! I am anxiously awaiting for CSC to begin now approving April Filers. I just returned from Lima Peru and my heart is breaking again for my husband. Today, is 146 days for the I-130. I will never forget the nightmare we have all experienced with this process!!!!!!!!!!!

On the other note, considering Raj's dates, VSC is already approving some of the June K3 filers... and CSC... well lets not talk about them... coz it doesn't matter what we say or do... I hate this discrepancy as I m sure many others here... ok ranting done... good luck to all of us waiting...

Robin's petitions were processed by CSC. NSC just forwards, they haven't processed I130 spousals and I129Fs in over a year.

Congrats to raj0327 and RobinAtAileen... and good to both of you(more like four of u) lol... with the rest of the process... :thumbs:

On the other note, considering Raj's dates, VSC is already approving some of the June K3 filers... and CSC... well lets not talk about them... coz it doesn't matter what we say or do... I hate this discrepancy as I m sure many others here... ok ranting done... good luck to all of us waiting...

I feel you, but I have been resisting the urge to rant for a while. As a mini rant, I will add to your statement, that there needs to be immigration reform, but the focus of debates in congress have missed what really needs to be considered, fixing USCIS and the the broken procedures and policies, an update to the LIFE Act, etc.. I will avoid the details otherwise this post would cease to be mini, and become a full-sized rant.

03/12/2007 - Married to my beautiful wife

04/16/2007 - Sent I-130 to VSC via USPS Express Mail

05/12/2007 - NOA1 received by snail mail after a loooong wait

05/14/2007 - Sent I-129F for K3 to Chicago Lockbox via USPS Express Mail

10/22/2007 - I129F APPROVED (161 days), I130 APPROVED (188 days)

11/08/2007 - I129F received at NVC, embassy case number generated.

11/13/2007 - I129F forwarded to embassy.

11/18/2007 - 129F petition received at embassy

01/09/2008 - finally, DOS gives me the interview date, April 16, 2007 (ouch)

07/14/2007--Noa-1 arrived in Clint´s house ( Miami ).

11/29/2007--Noa-2 ( by e-mail ) -- After 154 days

07/17/2007--Sent I-129F to chicago.

07/23/2007--Noa-1 arrived in Clint´s house ( Miami ).

08/13/2007--Just a mail arrived in Clint´s house tell they transfered our case to CSC.

11/29/2007--Noa-2 ( by e-mail )-- After 135 days

12/21/2007--nvc received!

01/07/2008--embassy received

02/19/2008--interview date!! APPROVED!

02/22/2008--Visa in hands!

02/26/2008--arrived in USA.
