here's a totally stupid question, what does bump mean?

Bump means to move the thread back to the top of the forum so it is not on the second or third pages of threads.

To The Top (TTT) is another expression for bumping a thread.

That makes sense. Thank you edp!

I never saw TTT before but now i'm prepared :P

G&A

Me too, just today I got my NOA transferring my case to California Service Center (CSC), dated 07/25, one day off from your estimated date, great job

Now I assume that the next column "Xfer Rec'd" would be another NOA from CSC telling me that they have received my case for process, is that right?

Thank you G & A, I am really impressed with your chart idea,

Here is the updated table. Did i miss any changes?

post-29453-1185635170.png

Hello G&A,

I seem to have disappeared off the table. Did I get deleted for some reason? I used to be listed somewhere around Divine Mercy and now I am not on the table at all. To give you an update...My husband mailed his passport photo on June 28 and it is now July 29 and I have never received it which means I can't file the K-3 and I really don't know what to do at this point. I am so frustrated cuz they are not moving on the I-130s at California at all. Mine has not been touched since it was received in June, but it looks like everyone elses that is there has never been touched since it arrived either. Maybe someone can give me some suggestions on what I can do now? I have an old passport photo of him from last year, but it has a red background instead of the white and I know they will just send it back for that alone. WHAT DO I DO????? Also, I noticed that my timeline for adjudication of my I-130 has now moved from October 7 to December 27, 2007. WHAT IS UP WITH THAT?

Thanks,

Deb

welcome to our group. When was you case transferred out of the MSC? Did it go to CSC or to VSC? and and when was it received?

I am assuming all this happened but now since your 129F NOA is almost 2 months old

Congrats KevFabi. I am glad you waited.

Hi,

This is Ahmad again please make the correction on my NOA1 for the I-130 and I-29F. I recieved my NOA1 date for I-130 on 6/11/07 not 6/15 and I received my NOA1 for I-129F on 7/3/07 not 7/7. This is the processing/received date in the USCIS system and on my NOA that was sent to me. Thank you.

Hi Deb, please see my post above. The table got cropped. I am going to update it shortly.

Re: photo, i think you waited enough for it. You need to have him send it to you electronically and then you can print it. Here is how

You need him to send you a hi-resolution file of the photo (a jpg or any other format will work). If he has access to a color scanner, he can scan them with 600dpi resolution or higher. He can them email you the file. Otherwise, he can ask the photo studio to do it for you. Most places have the capability of giving the picture on a disk. They can even scan it in for him if they have no capability of taking a digital photo. I am positive that he can find a place that can help him.

Once, you get the picture, then you can just send it to any photo processing place online, Costco, Target, ... I can help you with that part to make sure the scaling and all is right.

PS I have done this before and it works.

kelly1290 and G & A

I was just going to tell kelly1290 the same thing G & A typed above, that's what I did with my wife as well,

- I had her go to a photo shop and take a picture and asked them to give her the photo on CD,

- Then she emailed me the pictures,

- I worked them in here using Adobe Photoshop to put 6 photo ID pictures in 4X6 image size ,

- Then went to Ritz Camera store ( you can also go to Walgreen store or GVC pharmacy, or any other store that have self service photo print kiosk), and I printed two of this 4X6 image I made each has 6 pictues (2" X 2"), so I got dozen picture of id size photo for my wife, and it cost me less then a dollar.

You didn't make the correction by name that I sent to you. This Ahmad, My NOA1 dates for the I-130 and I-129F are wrong. The correct dates are that they are going by from the computer and what I have is as follows:

I-130 NOA1 recieved on 6/11/07 not 6/15

I-129F NOA1 recieved on 7/03/07 not 7/7

These are the processing and that they are going by and what they (USCIS) has sent to me. Please update the chart so I can get a better understanding of what I'm looking at a estimate time. Thanks.

Please update your VJ timeline with your I129F info (here: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/intro.php)

The data in the timeline helps everyone... the more data points for the VJ stats, the better.

You don't get an NOA for when the file is received by CSC, just an email (if you have it enabled) and you case status is updated on CRIS.
