Thanks G&A ..I did update my Timeline.

A question to everybody. even though I was told by USCIS to wait for another 10 days, I feel not believing them, and I am thinking to start my I-129F for K3 process, and instead of sending NOA1 of my I-130, that I don't have, I will send the following as a prove that I have filed I-130.

- My mail confirmation printout from online, that it was received by Nebraska Center

- Printout of my online status, with my case number showing

- Printout of my online statement with the fee ($190) showing, I will try to get this from the bank on their officer paper.

- Printout of the check image (back, and front). some digit of the case number showing not all.. it wasn't a clear image

- Copy of my filed I-130.

That's all I have, now do all of you thing this is enough to start filing my I-129. or I have to wait for this hard birth NOA1.

And my second question is, over the phone with USCIS when I was given the case number it start with WAC, so I thought it was Washington, but I was told no this is Cali Center number, because my case went there for further process! I am not getting this, what's wrong with Nebraska Center?!

wintime, you might have a little too much evidence and confuse the package. I would go with 3 pages (mail confirmation, check copy - both sides on one page if you can and the USCIS printout). That is more than enough in my opinion. No need to include the I-130 package or any bank statements.

WAC refers to the CSC. A lot of the K-3 cases are being handled there.

Currently, only California and Vermont service centers are processing I130 and I129F. Petitions sent to Nebraska and Texas Service centers are forwarded to CSC for processing. Petitions sent directly to Vermont are processed there (although they were sending some to CSC also in April and May because of the backlog from the H1Bs).

Vermont numbers begin with EAC (east coast) and California begin with WAC (west coast).

gogo: I have a question for you. I saw in your timeline that your I-129F has been transferred to CSC. I am just interesed in knowing how you came across that info, meaning if you found that out by calling USCIS or if you saw that on your USCIS status online.

The reason I am asking this question is because both of our I-129F dates are so near (Check my dates below) and I haven't had ANY update in regards with my I-129F. Mine is June12th and since I haven't had any update on it, I was wondering if I needed to look more into it.

Thanks. Please let me know if you need any other info from me.

You will get a notice via email, and eventually by snail mail when they send your 129F to the CSC... The status on the USCIS website will change too, it will say that your petition was sent to Cali for processing.

When it is received and recorded by CSC, you will get an email saying that the case is pending at CSC, the status will be updated on the website to indicate it too.

Wintime,

I think I will do the same thing as you are doing. I think it is kind of ridiculous to wait so long to get the NOA1 before submitting the 129F. Can you tell me what specific documents you will be sending. I am assuming you are sending the tracking letter, the status letter from USCIS & the print out of the check. Let me know if you are sending anything else.

Thanks,

Raj

Hi everyone,

sorry for the late reply.. actually I just based the reading on the USCIS website =) I log into my account today (6/26/07) and it also changed... I also received the 129F NOA1 on 6/14/07.. but the official date they received it was 6/11/07.. so I bolded the "official" dates on my forum signature.. this is my latest message from them today...

Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.

The I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) that was transferred to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location is now pending there. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you

This is different from the first message, saying that "they are sending the I-129F to another office for processing"... this message states that they (CSC) received it.. the 1st message some of you are getting is that they are "sending" it to another office..

Hi All,

It looks like I was just little impatient. I just checked the USCIS online status of my I-129F and it says "This case has been sent to another office for processing." So, now I atleast know that a transfer of my case to CSC has been initiated. BTW, when I checked in the morning, this wasn't the status. It said it was still at NBC.

Anyhow, thanks to all for your time/help and replies. Appreciate it.

Now on the lookout for another status update from USCIS/CSC that we received the case here at CSC and ofcourse its "pending" :) or something along those lines...

I will also update my signature shortly...

Thanks once again.

Regards.

did you try looking at the check you sent in for the I-129F? If it has been cashed (by USCIS), then you can get a copy of the check and try to find out the case number from the back of it.. sorry guys for the long forum signature.. I just want to give people in the future who apply for a visa a better "visa journey" as to what will happen.. actually, it might be different for them too..

Arrg! My I-129F check was finally cashed yesterday  so I got the case number off the back (MSC followed by 10 digits) but when I tried to check my case status online today I got this messge:

This Receipt Number cannot be found at this time in this automated system

So does that mean they just haven't entered it in the system yet, or would the number be wrong? I thought some people here had found the number printed on the back of their check was not actually the correct case number?
