Vaccination records? ours? huh?

Hey Divine..

Thanks for bringing this up. I have this question myself about whose vaccinationn records are they referring to over here.

I know for sure that the beneficiary has to go thru the whole medical exam (and possibly show vaccination proof) in their country at the time of their interview but I am not sure if petitioner's vaccination records are required too. I have barely started to gather info/docs post I-129F while I am waiting for my NOA2 for the same but I remember running into this guide and wondering about this vaccination issue myself.

Can someone please clarify this. Thanks and appreciate everyone's help.

:crying: I feel for you.. it seems that you have to go through the "journey" twice now.. too bad, you couldn't wait another week and checked your I-129F.. Good luck on your visa journey this time and have a bit more patience.. hehe.. wait until they say the FINAL "no or yes" next time..

It was a little more complicated than that. I had an IMBRA problem and received a denial and then a chance to appeal 2 lawyers told me I had very little chance and that they most likely would deny it. I had already bought my tickets and it was a hail mary pass... cause I knew it would be another 6 months minimum till I could make the 5000 dollar journey into Algeria. Going to ALGERIA with a child is no easy feat cause you have to have visas and airfare to Oran alone is 1200 a piece and then that doesnt count the wait. Its very hard to get there and get in ( wait for the visas) and expensive and I had the chance to marry him.. I got back and the fiancee visa was approved... but if we would have gotten a k1 denial for any reason.. then I would have been facing another year wait.

Well thats neither here nor there.. now I am legally married to him....and I have filed a I130 and have an attorney WHO IS AWESOME FAST AND ORGANIZED AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. I found him on one of the ads here and he really has been amazing fast and organized. So my I 130 is in the mail ( THANK YOU GOD) and now I begin the journey with you guys... I am crying inside trying to get through this hard time.. ( We had been waiting since January.. and now the clock starts again) I paid with money order so I have no idea when the NOA1 will go out but I am hanging in there for sure... Love you guys

Petitioner's vaccination records are not needed for this process. You need to gather the beneficiary's vaccination records, seeing that they were given long ago, this might not be easy to do, and records are not well kept in certain places. Of course, if the records aren't found in time for the medical, the bene can be tested for immunities and the required vaccines administered.

RocksAnne, Awesome. Some might wonder why even pursue the K-3 if your I-130/CR-1 is doing good. In your case (Vancouver conculates), there is a big reason. CR-1 will go to Montreal and it take up to 4 month to get an iterview. K-3s go to Vancouver and interview takes weeks to be scheduled. Wanted to see if you are on the same page...

PS It is so interesting how the NOA1 and NOA2 and so close to each other.

supernova, welcome to the thread. I will add you to the tracking table. To answer your question, once you login to the USCIS status page, there is your case number and a date next to it (last updated date). Keep watching this date and every time it changes, that is a touch!

Got my NOA1 ;) And you were right, there was a 1 number difference between the number behind the check and the actual number on the NOA1. :luv:

btw is it normal that my case is pending at the NBC ? Shouldn't it be at the CSC ?

Filed: AOS (pnd) Country: India
Timeline
 SQUEEEEEE!

:dancing: PETITION APPROVED! NOA2 received by email this morning. :dancing:

Still no NOA on the I-129F though, and check hasn't been cashed yet.

Congratulations to RocksN and dgv... I am so happy for you... Wish you all the best for the rest of your VJ.. yay...

So, looking at these two cases sprung up these questions/notes in my mind:

Note 1) It actually is REALLY possible that some may get their I-130 approved(NOA2) in about a month or so timeframe, just like Rocks' and dgv's was ajudicated. I mean I thought it wasn't even possible that someone would actually get their NOA2 in about 30 - 45 days. Regardless, I m happy for u guys. Seeing some NOA2 also encourages me for my own :)

Question 2) So, one question I have is, is this NOA2 receiving time difference really due to different service centers (and their workload I guess...) or is it totally random depending upon individual cases?

Anyhow, good luck again and have a great weekend u guys... I m happy to see some progress in your cases...

Regards,

Pkewl
