Hi Everyone,

I wanted to let everyone know that we received our number from the NVC today. I called and talked to a live person and they asked for the usual USCIS number and birthday of the beneficiary etc etc.. and then the man asks me "is your phone number xxx-xxxx" and rattles off my phone number! I was so excited because I knew I was in the system even before he finished! :dance: He proceeded to give me our new case number and then told me that it would be processed and forwarded to the embassy in 1 -2 weeks. He made a point to say it would be 1 - 2 weeks before it was forwarded, and not 1 - 2 weeks before they receive it. I suppose the two weeks might be a generic number that they throw out to all inquiries but it sounded good to me. Anyway, he said they would be mailing us a confirmation of receipt yada yada yada...

Well, suffice to say we are really excited. I would rather see small progress often more often than nothing but a black hole for so long like USCIS. I realize that all the little processes will add up but at least we can sleep at night knowing something is happening.

yes, I had a touch on my case on Jan 27. again....

it is not important how many times they touch our cases. but we know now that they work on our cases, IT IS IMPORTANT!

I think they do overtime to get more money ;)

We will have our approval very soon....

Amoro.... my case was toched again!!! (1/27). Was yours updated too? Still no approval, though.

Fourth touch! How many times do these people touch a case before something else happens? (maybe they simply like to see the picture I sent, he he)

Guys.

After a long wait. I am happy to announce that my I-130 and I-129F are approved. The website has not yet been updated, but I talked to an officer who said that my cases were approved. There is a god!!...

Sent I-130 - June 10th 2007

Sent I-129F - July 23rd

Jan - 24th - the touch on the website was an approval. The officer on the phone said that the online database was not approved yet and a letter was mailed out.

Love you all for staying with my through this journey..I am sure JC and Syadira's touches were approvals too..

My wife went today to the consulate and got packet 3 & 4. Our interview date is set for the 8th of April. Now to just get ready and make sure that I collect all the needed materials. Hoping that all get their approvals very soon, and goodluck to thos who are about to be interviewed. And long life and prosperity to those who are already with their SO's
