Ok, the consulate would only have the K3 now even if the I130 was sent to NVC. NVC takes 2-6 months to process an I130 for CR1/IR1. Did you get anything from NVC for the I130? You can call NVC and use the automated system to see if your WAC (or EAC # for VSCers) is in their system for the I130. There is the DS3032 (choice of agent) that goes out to you and your spouse. There is the 2 fee bills (affidativ of support and iv fee) that you would get after that.

iv bill? when my I-130 was sent to NVC .. about a month later I got the following in the mail:

Affidavit of Support Fee Bill

Information about Agent of Choice Letter (ACL) DS-3032 form

DS-3032 Form itself

cover letter

letter with contact info for the NVC

That's it.

G&A looks like u can use a new color maybe. Probably black. You could black out my I-129F section for dead, terminated, murdered. It's up to you. Hopefully I'll be the only black spot on the chart.

Kathryn,

You should have an Immigrant Visa Fee Bill and an the Affidavit of Support bill (the I864 bill you have). The IV fee bill is mailed to the choice of agent. Since you were not pursuing the CR1, you/your husband probably never sent that in. Did you receive a DS3032, choice of agent form? The IV fee bill might be waiting until that is sent back. You guys can email that in and designating you as the choice of agent. That will generate the bill and get it on its way (there is a shortcut for paying the bill before you actually receive it once its generated)

I see that you have the DS3032. You need to send that in via email.

Divine Mercy,

The IV Bill only applies if you are going for the CR1 or IR1 (if you're married longer than 2 years *I think*) I got it because I'm on that track. You are still applying for K3 Non-Immigrant visa so you should not receive that bill. You just have to pay for AOS (Adjustment of Status) once your husband gets there. Its all water under the bridge really once he's here. Anyone please correct me if I'm wrong;)

Dave, your wrong in that Kathryn has now joined you on the CR1 track as of yesterday.

Her situation is very similar to yours, I130 approved long ago, still waiting for the I129F. She had decided to wait for the K3 because of the shorter wait for interview at Lagos while you decided to pursue the CR1. Yesterday, she called VSC and found out that because she no longer has an underlying I130 pending, they were canceling her I129F. So no K3 for Kathryn, CR1 all the way.

See here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=97919

Your I129F might be in the same state. Keep us posted.

Hey guys,

Something really weird just happened. As you all know from my timeline below, my I-130 was approved on October 30th...I even got the NOA2 in the mail (but never got email notification). My NOA2 said that my case would be transferred to NVC for processing. Well, this never happened it was held unitl the approval of my I-129F. Well, 20 days later my I-129F was approved and I got the NOA2 in the mail. And now my I-129F was forwarded to NVC.

Today, I check my email and I have this email from CRIS.

Thanks for the response Urge. Well, I did call USCIS and they told me not to worry about it, that this was just a technical error from the computer system. They told me that if I already got the NOA2 in the mail, that everything was OK. But you know what, I don't trust them anymore. But either way, I'm approved and that's all that matters. Now I have to wait and see if I do indeed get something in the mail. maybe I won't, who knows. (Side Note: I did get TWO NOA1 for my I-130 in the mail, Saturday I received one and then Monday I got another one...exactly the same....all due to the computer glitch at CSC"

I'll let you guys know if I get anything in the mail.

Thanks,

YG

On the website for our applications both applications are still pending. We received the hard copy of NOA2 on November 26, 2007. CSC just can't get there ####### together...

YES, I agree with you My Honey. When my I-129F was approved I DID get the email notification, and the website status IS UPDATED. But when my I-130 was approved, the status on the website NEVER changed, and I never got the email notification...UNTIL NOW. WOW, NEWSFLASH, I'M APPROVED....Hello USCIS, I already knew that. The approval email just came in yesterday for my I-130.

Anyways, we keep learning new things everyday. New ways of USCIS screwing us over. I'll feel safe when I know my I-129F has reached NVC...I want to get out of USCIS HELL.
