Let me introduced myself. m from the philippines and my hubby is from washington. I just have few questions regarding k3. So frustrating that we sent the I-130 package may 8, 2007. My hubby called USCIS and was told they got it may 15. But when I checked online it says there On June 1, 2007 we received this I-130..... and the receipt date is July 11.we got the hardcopy of the receipt notice July 18. When will I start counting? Is it from June !st or from July 11?

Another thing, since We got the hardcopy of the receipt notice late, we file the I-129f july 18, and was receive by the USCIS July 24. it was transferred to laguna niguel aug 9, so does it mean I have to count from the date of the transfer aug.9 even USCIS receives it JUly 24? Plsss. help me. So confused. We are in the same boat and you guys are the one giving me hope.

See I will tell you what happend with me exactly, I sent my I-130 on May 10th, and they didn't update my online status untill I called on June 4th, and then the online status showed that my case was recived and pedning with June 5th date,

When I called 11/19 I told the lady I spoke with that I have sent my case more then 180 days ago, going by the date my package mail was received by USCIS, and she confirm that yes I should count the days from the date my mail arrived in USCIS center, not from the date shown on the online status, nor from the date on the NOA.

I hope I answered your question.... and I hope you get your approval soon

That's correct wintime. As you can see I'm nearly passed the 120 day marker from the transfer which, according to the USCIS I need to wait an additional 60 days before I can take action. It seems, at least at this present place and time, that I was wise to abandon 129F and startup with CR1. I wonder if they'll hold my I-129F until I file for lifting conditions ;)

Wow almost back to back on the NOA2 for both I-130 and I-129 huh, G&A?! Congrats!

Info for those of you in the same time frame/path.......

I have been away in China with my wife all this month and will return to the US on the 30th.

I just checked in with the CSC and found that my I-129F for K-3/4 and the I-130 for CR-1/2 have both been approved on the same day, November 6th at the CSC.

Still no word on if transfered to the NVC yet, although I assume they each have been sent on by now ??

If the I-130 moves fast, I imagine I should pay the extra bucks and pay the due bill, and move with the CR-1/2 due to the increased benefit upon entering the US ??

I will not be able to phone the NVC until I return to the US after the 30th, to check my status and get my GUZ (Guangzhou Consulate) number.

I waited about 145 days from I-129F NOA-1 until the NOA-2 and longer, of course for the I-130 NOA-2.

Sunny and very warm in Southern China !!!!

What a day, few minutes ago 11:49pm I checked my online USCIS profile, and I saw an update on my I-130 date, it has been touched and the date is 11/21/2007, even though we are still on 11/20/2007, that's not the end of the story, I checked the status for my I-130, and there you go

My I-130 is approved

Here is the message....

[Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On November 20, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.]

But for my I-129F it still saying pending under process, but like I said above in my previous post the last update date says 11/20, that means my I-130 and I-129F were together, but only the I-130 got approved so far, I don't know what will happen to the I-129F, I hope it will follow, and I hope they will not say (because there is 2 months between both cases), ,

I wouldn't worry so much about the online status of your I-129f. I was approved on November 7th for the I-130, but to this day my online status for the I-129f says "in process" even though I received the hardcopy NOA2 together with my I-130 NOA2. Just keep looking for the snail mail results, you've probably been approved for both!

Wintime, congrats on the I130 approval

As Jonh&Celia said, don't worry too much about the online status for the I129F. John&Celia, G&A, and KingsleyPrincess had the same thing happen in the last 2 weeks. They had a touch on the I129F (but the status still said pending) and an approval of the I130 on the same day as the touch of the I129F. All 3 got 2 NOA2s in the mail, both were APPROVED! Hope yours will be the same.

My Lao Po, since both were approved together, by the policy announced on Nov. 2006 here, only the I129F will be forwarded to NVC. Your I130 will be held for eventual AOS unless you file I824 to get it moving, which will cost $$ and take too long to be worthwhile. You are pretty much locked into the K3. Davejaz was "lucky" in that his petitions were not paired, and his I130 approval came so early that he chose to pursue it instead of wait for I129F.

Wow almost back to back on the NOA2 for both I-130 and I-129 huh, G&A?! Congrats!

John and Celia & Urge To Race

Thank you so much for your kindness and support, and yes you right that some of our friends here like G & A had their I-130 approved then when the mail came in they have received both, so I hope my I-129F and I-130 come togather in the mail, the two things that worrys me  are

1st that I have a big gap between my I-129F and I-130, almost 2 months in between, and that's their fault for not sending the NOA1 for my I-130 and when I call they were telling me just to wait..and wait

2nd this is a bit small issue, but it's that I haven't received any update email sent automaticaly, eventhough my online status got updated in the date column for both I-130 and I-129F, and in the status message for I-130!!

But at any rate, my hopes are much higher then my worries :yes::D:P:lol:

Congratulation, really happy for you, me and you are in the same track.

Congrats to all the recent approvals! I can't wait to join you.

My congressman made an inquiry in the last week of August, I did the RFE trick last week... no touches, nothing. All the info I have is that it's still on the shelf.

It's becoming harder and harder to cope for myself and my husband.

I've thought about doing a sit-in at the VSC until they take me off the "shelf". I'd probably end up being asked to sit an extra "30 days".

We are in the same boat and you guys are the one giving me hope.

pechez - For your I-130, the Priority Date is May 15. For your I-129F, there is no PD but they go by the receipt date which is July 24. (study my signature to learn more about all the different dates) The fact that you have more than a 2 months gap might mean that your applications might be processed separately as opposed to be paired. You should hear back soon considering your dates.

Deb, Hang in there. They will find your file and approve it right away. I am certain. you are i the same boat as (although some have had their 130 more recently approved and some have a bigger GAP between the 2 petitions.

Congrats for Wintime, kdancer04, My Lao Po! Great news.

PS I also never received an email from USCIS... i guess their IT support is on vacation.
