Hi. Just an update . . . I just wanted to let you know that I checked on the web regarding our I-130 again today and it says it was approved yesterday, 11/15/07 and letter was sent in the mail!!! It appeared they never touched it. I had called CSC on 11/7/07 and this is what the lady told me, all petitions are split up between different counselors. Some work faster than others. Your petition is still on the shelf. Re: the date posted on the web: “That’s an estimate, not a come hell or high water date. Check back in 30 days.” I asked if there is a preference in countries. She said no. I asked if there is anything we can do to speed up the process. She said no. Check back in 30 days. I contacted my congressman on 11/07/07, 11/08/07, and 11/14/07. I received the privacy form in the mail today to complete and submit to them so they can assist.

My husband and I are praising God for the approval!!!! It's such great news to us after more than 6 months of no news at all.

Met online in 04/06.

Officially engaged on 12/12/06.

Flew for first time - heading to Lagos on 03/08/07.

Met in person on 03/09/07.

Married in Lagos, Nigeria on 03/15/07.

I-130 mailed 05/01/07.

Any changes on the I129F? It seemed that just last week the website was not being updated and that the NOA2s were being mailed only. Maybe you will still get the NOA2 in the mail for I129F as well, and their computer glitch is only partly corrected. Best of luck.

I agree with Urge, I remember another member who thought only their I-130 got approved, and then he got both of his NOA2 on the mail. Just keep praying and it could happen. You should be getting them together, you sent your I-129F just one month appart from you I-130, and you have a late June priority date for your I-129F...and it looks like USCIS is working on June approvals (for I-129F's)

I was the member who saw on the website that we'd been approved for the I-130 but not the I-129f...the next day both NOA2's arrived in the mail, and to this day the USCIS website still shows "pending", even though my I-129f has already passed NVC and is in Buenos Aires. You've probably been approved for both, just wait for the hard copies!
