Wait outside the building or the room where I get interviewed?

Outside the building.  As of April 1, 2019 they are not letting anyine but applicants inside. Yesterday for example they would not allow one gentlemans fiancee in to wait

It also has to have the box checked on the form that says all vaccinations are completed. I've seen people get RFEs if they send in that form and it is not checked so make sure it has that check mark! :)

Not true - Fiance can go into the consulate and sit with the applicant and all. They just dont go up to the window or into the interview room.

Fiance cannot wait inside. Rules have changed. No one but applicant is allowed inside. This is  also posted on the front of the building by the entrance doors

Weird. I just went March 27 and we were allowed inside. Must have changed since then.

Interesting, my interview was May 1st, and there were 3 others with petitioners with them. Oh well... sorry it’s changed.

Did they get to go in with the beneficiary?

I would call the consulate and make sure, cause if they are actively enforcing it, your petitioner may need to be prepared to go for coffee
