Ah that's exciting!! There are a few of us Canadians from the forums who got the same day/time. I feel like the whole lobby will just be an army of people from here :P Is she headed there from BC (just curious based off of the city/local office you have listed)?

She is in Edmonton.  We're going to drive up to Vancouver for the medical appointment hopefully early/mid May when she visits me.

Anyone here that did the medical with Dr. Cheema know approximately how long it took them to get back to you via email?

Prepping paperwork for Montreal interview.  What is required for Evidence of Support?  I thought at the interview you provide the I-134 and that the more detailed I-864 gets submitted with the AOS filing.   But on the P4 instruction sheet is says I-864.  Anyone who has attended interview already and knows the answer, appreciate your help.  Thanks.

At the K1 interview you need to provide the I-134 and evidence supporting that, which is laid out in the I-134 instructions.  For mine, I am bringing 2018 tax return (and schedules) W2, 1099, a letter from the USC's bank (as described in the I-134 instructions) and 2015-2017 IRS transcripts.  I will bring the 2018 IRS transcript if it's available in time. My fiance is self-employed therefore I cannot bring a letter of employment.

edited to say all supporting evidence must be from the US citizen and/or co-sponsor.

For K-1 It is I-134. Not I-864 (This is for Adjusting of Status, commonly referred to as "AOS" here)

I will be bringing 2016,2017,2018 tax transcripts, W-2's from 2016, 2017, 2018, and Pay stubs from January 2019~Middle April 2019.

I am not sure you need a bank statement from the sponsor. I was not planning on bringing one.

If you meet the income requirements you don't need the letter from the bank.  I'm bringing mine as extra back up since self-employment means no employment letter and no paystubs.  You were able to get your 2018 transcript already?  My fiance's isn't ready yet!!

Yeah I got the 2018 tax transcript and W-2. My joint sponsor filed in Feb to have it ready for me. I am not using a letter of employment either, but I am bringing pay stubs. My fiance's brother who is the joint sponsor didn't feel comfortable asking for a letter of employment because he got a new boss 1-2 weeks ago. Also I am not sure how important it is because it can be fake'd quite easy compared to pay stubs etc.

Leaving tomorrow for Montreal and I am feeling so anxious now. It’s like I’ve been holding my breath since last year. I know I’m ready and probably over prepared, but I want this long distance stuff to be over as soon as possible. Probably why I can’t sleep.

I'll be arriving in Montreal tomorrow too, can't believe our turn is finally here!

I'm feeling so anxious too and so nervous even though others have said that the interview is the easiest part of this process.

We've got this!! So close to the finish line 😊

Yeah for sure, and who knows, maybe timelines are speeding up a bit and they have actually mailed yours already! Keep us posted.

Do they actually mail out? I read that everything is via email? I forget where I read it. Did you receive packet 3 via post? My status just changed to READY.

I haven't seen any instances if P3 being sent via email for as long as I've been tracking things (last October ish). And yes ours came by mail and it took almost two weeks to make it across the country lol.

When did your case get to the consulate? It's been taking 2-3 weeks for P3 to be sent after consulate received.

I actually don't know how to tell. The email containing the case number is dated April 16. When I called NVC they gave me an invoice number and the date April 16. As of April 22 CEAC said In transit (i think? I can't recall if that's the phrase). Then I checked today it said ready. Interesting. I just read it somewhere today, unless I read wrong. It's good to know P3 comes by mail. I hear some people don't receive it at all.
