Yes, but they changed the requirements late last year so make sure you go here: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Visa-Reciprocity-and-Civil-Documents-by-Country/Canada.html scroll down and look under the "Police, Court, Prison Records" Tab for the new requirements

okay thank you. i am just trying to gather my documents for p3. hopefully we can get the packet sent soon.

I just received an email reply to my P3 resubmission that I sent on the 8th a few minutes ago:

"Good Morning,

Thank you for sending these documents as requested.

As soon as the Visa Unit reviews your case, you will be contacted with further instructions."

So I suppose this means my P3 was accepted but I won't be getting my P4 until they've looked it over?

That is not what I received when my P3 was accepted. This is what my reply was from Montreal:

Good Afternoon,

We acknowledge receipt of your e-mail and the additional information provided.

We will forward your information to the visa unit for review and next steps.

Sincerely,

About 1 hour after that email they sent me this one:

Dear xxxxxxxxx:

This office has completed the review of the below-referenced immigrant visa case. You are now ready for an interview at the U.S. Consulate General in Montreal, where all interviews for immigration to the US from Canada are processed. This letter provides information on the next steps you must take to continue with your immigrant visa case.

Looks like there are no appointments available at this time, how often do they normally add new Canadian appointments? 😥

The same thing happened to me in March! April was all booked so it told me there were no appointments available.

So in your case, this means May is now all full. So you'll have to constantly keep checking back to see when they open up June.

But it shouldn't be too long! I had to wait only about 2 days before I saw new appointments available. 😊

Thank you! That's all good, I was hoping for June anyway, hoping I can get an appointment before my NOA2 expires on June 11 to save some of the hassle of trying to get it extended 😅

A few months ago it had been consistently during the last week of the month, but they opened May dates up super early, I think like first week of March, so it could be anytime now that they open June. :) Congrats on P4!

Thank you! I will have to stalk the website then, though I feel like I'm going to be waiting for a pot to boil 😅I'm so happy though haha, we found out about our NOA2 on Valentines and it's our anniversary today so the timings of these events have been really nice ☺️

Yeah I think most of us sneak in the last week or two before it expires. My NOA2 expired on May 30th, and I got my interview on the 22nd. Seems like a normal thing these days.

Yeah it seemed that way from what people have been saying here, they're really pushing the limits on these things 😓

Anyone waiting for June interview dates to open?

Also, anyone who has already attended Montreal interview - I have found a couple hotels with reasonable rates within walking distance but it looks like they either have no parking or very limited parking.  Are there parking garages that are in the area?

Thanks!
