Do you have your case number? What does ceac say?

did you get a response from Montreal?

I asked something on the other response. Let me know. You may have to just try again. Don’t freak out yet

I have my case number, CEAC has been "Ready" since April 1 (I was part of the March 19 shipment), but I might have just been too early since many of the people who were successful and had this date had an earlier NOA2 date

What I find strange though is they sent the exact same email in response to my fiance's request to change my address so I'm wondering if there's a different department it starts at before being moved to the visa unit and mine hasn't made it there yet...

oh okay, is toronto the closest one? I did some research and found there were some qualified doctors in windsor.

Toronto is closest.    There are only i believe 4 drs in ontario that do it for immigration

My Case Last Updated date just changed again to today's date...I attempted to send the P3 on the 3rd and they sent me an automated message yesterday (at which point the date also changed), should I wait to see if they send me something or do you guys think this might be my "second ready" and I should resubmit it instead? 😣

My case has updated 3 times this week and I think they update it whenever they send an email response as well so it's a bit hard for me to judge at this point haha. I think I will probably wait and see if I get anything today and resubmit on Monday if nothing happens since they won't look at it over the weekend anyway.

Our timelines are very similar (outside of the fact that I have no data on NVC received because we couldn't get a hold of them 😂) so I'm hoping that there's a good chance it'll work out the same way for my case too

Ours just changed to today’s date as well.  I’m thinking same thing - wait until end of day Monday to see if anything transpires.  I don’t know about anyone else but I don’t think I will ever forget our case number I’ve entered it so many times!😖😖😖

I memorized our WAC pretty quick from all the checking.. luckily my computer remembers this case number for me so I don't have to type it anymore 😂It would be nice if they made the difference between lower case and capital letters in the CAPTCHA more noticeable though 🙄

Couple quick questions for the ppl who have had the interview so far. The checklist of items that we need to bring from packet 3 notes that we need to bring our birth certificate - this is just for the applicant correct (not the petitioner too)? Secondly, the checklist notes to have originals and copies of all documents. Did you bring any 'originals' for proof of petitioner's domicile in the US? If so, what items did you bring that were 'original'?

Thanks!

Birth cert is just for beneficiary but it couldn't hurt to bring it for petitioner if you are able. You never know what the eff they might ask for, really. We brought mine and weren't asked for even a copy. If I remember correctly (it's honestly a blur what was officially asked for vs all the extra stuff we brought) you need petitioner proof of status, so if that's the case make sure to have at least one piece of documentation for that, which might be a birth cert.

As for domicile, is your petitioner not living in America? You only need this if they are living elsewhere and in that case I can't think of much that would warrant need for "original" - maybe a lease or something. You can bring original mailed copies of utility bills and such. Again, I live in the U.S. and brought copies of all this stuff JUST IN CASE and as expected my fiance wasn't asked for any of it.
