@Lori Johnson

Where are you getting your medical done? I thought technically you can't schedule medical until you schedule interview first?

I couldn't book my medical in Montreal until after my interview was scheduled (they asked for my interview date when I called to make the appointment).

@purem4g1c

I'm from Gatineau (across the bridge from Ottawa!) And I had my medical done in Montreal 🙂 closest one for us!

Did you drive back a week later to pick it up, then drive home, then drive back for the Interview? 😮 Or did you pick it up on interview day then go? :D

They said I can pick it up on the morning of my interview! (May 1st) 😊 They'll keep it until then.

If you ever have more questions about the medical, feel free to message me!

When I called dr in Toronto they didn’t ask me for any info.  Just made the appt.   I assumed by my medical appt, which I made for 6 weeks from now, I would have everything I need.  Can always change the appointment if necessary.   From the posts there won’t be any interview until at least June so timing should be fine.  I was hoping they will mail results, but if not will pick up in Toronto on way to Montreal, since I am coming from Windsor.

You will definitely need your interview date the day of the appointment. I was just there yesterday and a girl had her appointment cancelled because she didn’t have one. The Toronto Doctor, is pretty awesome, everything went by so fast, it still took about 2 hours start to finish, but they keep ya going and its pretty straight forward.

Hey guys - Packet 3 requires 2 photographs (in color). I can't seem to find the requirements for these photos - does anyone have that info? Thanks!

Are you talking about the one from the DS-160 application or is it actually listen in the packet 3 check list. It wasn’t on mine.

It's on the P3 checklist dated 29-Mar-2016.  "two recent photographs".

I believe they want US sized passport photos.  Same as what's required for your medical.  But those photos are not what you need to send in for P3.  They are what you need to bring in for your interview.  For the P3 itself you only need to send your passport bio page copy, DS-160 confirmation page and the checklist.

Looks like my March 19 shipment from the NVC arrived at the Consulate!!! Checked DHL right now!

How long does it usually take for CEAC to change. My currently says "IN TRANIST" still.... I'm trying to be patient but the waiting is killing me lol

Happy Monday 🌸

Mine shipped from NVC to MTL on March 19th as well! Patiently waiting for the CEAC to update the status haha. As of this morning, it still says in transit. How about yours?

Hey guys! I just found out this morning that our case was sent off to Montreal on March 19 (NOA2 date February 12). I had no idea we were this far along already because my fiance was unable to get through to anyone on the phone until now so I'm a bit panicked. 😱 Definitely relieved to have found this forum topic!

Don't be panicked!  That's great progress.  You still have a few weeks before you get your P3, and your interview will likely be end of May or into June.  You have plenty of time to sort out what you need.  Congratulations!  It's great you're finally in Montreal.  :)

that's also the option that they said on me as they opened at 6:45am but my interview is at 7:30am so i'll pick it up a day before my interview. I also inquire about sending my results to my home address but it was $50 delivery fee and yes pick up is the best option😂
