Package 3 and 4 contents?

Hi

We filed our K3 petition in January through a solicitor. I was just wondering what is in the package contents? We have received a package looking for payment for an A.of support and k3 visa fee bill. We sent it off the next day and according to the NVC they have prepared another package and will send it out in a few weeks. My question is: Was the fee bills package 3? and this new package they have prepared package 4? Also what are the contents of package 3 and 4.

Doesn't sound like it. The affidavit of support is free, the notarization costs money. Our packet three was just a medical exam packet for my wife to take to the doctor, a ds-230 part I, ds-156, and ds-156k form, as well as a request to wire the money for the visa to the embassy and a checklist to mail back for requesting an interview date.

Just had a thought. I could have been if your lawyer is completing the forms for you and only contacting you for payment, maybe you should ask him?

Sounds like papers for I-130, CR-1 to me ! Without a timeline, it is hard to tell. You must decide wether to pay and possibly receive a CR-1 visa, or wait to file AOS after you arrive in the U.S.If you interview is very soon, or it would be hard to return for a second interview, don't send the payments, and maybe you should tell them you will AOS in the U.S.
