Hey guys, um, strange question here: I filed online and then just downloaded our application snapshot. Part 6 where it state Petitioner's Statement, etc.. I see the checkbox was not selected. There are other sections where I've answered with a checkbox. And its the section (1a) that states 'I can read and understand English, and I have read and understand every question and instruction on this petition and my answer to every question' nor is my signature and date in the respective boxes (6a, 6b)? But, my contact info is listed (3, 4, 5).

I know filing online would be different from the paper application and I'm prolly overthinking it, but could this be an issue with my application?

Hello Everyone hope everyone is well.I have a question what is if he/she will be outside the U.S

The address outside the U.S of the individual that you applying for (for example if you're applying for your husband living in Haiti, you put his address in Haiti)

I hope that helps1

Hi everyone,

My case is on 04/23/19, transfered to Potomac on Feb and has just been approved. Approximately 1 month.

Some already reported their cases approval on the same period.

Hope that this info give relief to some of you here.

Good news

I ain't expecting same even though I was transferred same day.

I have seen times without number that USCIS deliberately delay F2A approvals till like 9 months from filing date.

My case was transferred from California at exactly 6 months, but it ended in Nebraska where it might take 4 or 5 months to get approved.

PD: September 2019

Hello everyone,

I hope you all doing good and are safe. Did anyone of you filed taxes and what status did you select(single/married filing separately)? I tried to file using married filing separately but system did not allow me to submit as its asking for spouse's SSN/ITIN which I do not have it as she never been to USA. Please advise .

Hi,

I filed my taxes as Single itself, cause technically you are still single since your spouse is not here and they are not still in the system.

You should not have filed as Single.  You should have filed as Married Filing Separately.  You will need to amend that tax return.
