@PalRish I stand corrected, @HlyEK post just now seem to confirm that the USCIS is indeed still processing and approving F2A I-130's despite Trump's ban.

Based on @SusieQQQ's post here it sounds like USCIS and NVC are continuing to process the petitions and once they get to the consulate, the consulate will withhold issuing visas till the ban expires. So that's very good news. I feel so relieved to hear that as the application is only stuck on the last step.

I am waiting for the interview too since feb march 2020

Hi All,

Anyone with wise wisdom can advise to me when will we get the 2 years green card or 10 year green card?

As i understand,

- 2 year GC is issues when your marriage is less than 2 years

- 10 year GC is for marriage over 2 years

That timestamp is based on the time embassy issue the visa (it is a temporary green card) , or the time you enter USA at the port of entry?

Thank you :)

I need help identifying where my case is.

When I applied my wife's I130  back in 2019, I received a NOA from California. The date was 07/25/19.

Since then, I've been checking California processing times. Around June 2020 our date was out of processing time. Because of that, I did an out of processing time request. I though that they didn't answer, but today I found the answer on my email(from June). The answer was from Vermont, and stated that my case was within Vermont time frame.

I've never received any mail notice of service center transfer, and there is nothing at MyUscis as well.

That means that my case was transferred to Vermont? Or that it was always there? They do transfers without letting us know?

What would be the best way to know where my case is? Calling Uscis?

If it changed to Vermont it would be very sad for us. The processing time there is huge and grow each month. We're really tired of living separated.

Thank you.
