My SO sent me this today and asked me to post this for everyone.

here s the latest news about casa:

remember the consulat closed in april 16th while there were people who

passt

there interviews and who were told to be back to there visa in monday

april

16th or to bring other papers and to comeback to get there visa.what s

happening now is that the consulat is calling that people and asking

them to

come and bring there passeports to have visa,at the same time they r

giving

the passseport with visa to people who left there passeport there

waiting

the consulat to print visa in it.i know to people who got there visa

yesterday and an other one who got it this afternoon,and he s the one

who

called the X to tell him this news.for X,they didn t

call

him yet but may be next days cause there was people who were asked to

come

in tuesday and others in wednesday.

Is there anyone on here who can confirm this?????

So now I just read an e-mail that says the target date for re-opening is the 31st. There is now telling how truthful that is so we will have to wait and see. Just thought I would let you know what I have heard.

My husband told me the same thing this morning. His friend was called to the consulate to pick up his visa yesterday. Things are moving slowly but surely.

This relayed message doesn't have much relevance firstly because you're not really stating your source or if it's official, and seconly because it's for people who already had their interviews.

I don't see why you would want people to bounce information around.. too much speculation isn't a great thing. I know it's frustrating but I think these rumors are not the best thing to be posting and getting everyone's hopes up unless you know something 100%.
