heheh - yeah i dont see that happening.. especially since the unoffical state motto of FL is :

"happiness is when the Canadians go home with a New Yorker under each arm" (disclaimer: im a non-native floridian)

I understood most of those... Gawd, I've been in Canada way too long. I've even heard an "eh" slip out of my mouth a few times. I've been living and going to university (NOT college!) with my babe in Canada for the last few years, but we will move to the States when his immigration comes through. I think I'm going to have to be re-assimilated into American culture!

I LOVE the Log Driver's Waltz! oh, another . . . you know who Stompin'Tom Connors is:-).

I put up some small hand-held paper Canadian flags in our garden planters on Canada Day last year - and to keep it balanced, I also put up a few of the small hand-held US flags:-). My neighbours think it is 'cute':-). I have a large Canadian flag, but no, I am not putting it up outside.

I work part time as a docent at a historic Antebellum Plantation home. We interpret the time period of The Civil War/War Between the States ( or as the ladies of the time referred to it 'the recent unpleasantness' VBG) and get to wear the hoopskirts and corsets and everything else appropriate for 1864, when the Battle of Jonesboro took place here (part of the Battle of Atlanta Campaign). I have had some of our visitors guess I was from Canada but one asked me if I was from Virginia and the others think I am from the mid-west! Hehehe, I like to joke and tell them I am from so far north I don't even qualify to be a Yankee!
