My case was approved today!

Filed at Nebraska, transferred to Vermont and the PD is Feb 12th 2019.

Just a heads up for anyone with a similar PD :)

That’s awesome! Congrats. Super happy for you and thanks for posting and updating this chat. I called USCIS today and spoke to a level 2 officer. My case was transferred from Nebraska to Vermont as well PD 2-15-2019.She reported that case is with officer currently. So hopefully will hear something soon. I’m LIN199026****.  😊🙏🏽

Did you ask her if the case was with an officer, or did she voluntarily disclose that? I tried to ask a level 1 agent and they said they can’t disclose that information

With the level 1 I said the website states differently than online source site. And I said my case was in Nebraska and was supposed to be transferred to Vermont to “speed up process” then why did I transfer to slower center? Then I said my source says Vermont working on July 2019 so trying to figure stuff out. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Received a return call because if not you would be waiting for hours.  But I spoke to level 2 officer yesterday. Be really kind and do not interrupt if they talk.

This is good news,

How did you manage to get the agent to tell you it’s with an agent.

Thanks! NVC wanted proof of my (petitioner’s) current employment; since I’m unemployed they said I had to include a signed and dated letter stating my unemployment for “proof of employment”. Didn’t make sense to me because my I864 already stated I was unemployed but gotta do what we gotta do. Side note we did have a joint sponsor

Congrads!

Im jealous. Im still waiting and my I 130 NOA was Jan 25 2019

My case is just sitting at NVC....waiting.

When I looked up wait times at NVC they working on documents received Jan 4 2020  sooo. 9 weeks behind now. Which means it is getting longer. It used to be 4 to 6 weeks. Just like Nebraska. When I first applied the wait time was 6-8 months for I-130 completion. It is now up to 12.5 to 16 months.

My request for expedite was denied.

Just got this today:

Notice of Immigrant Visa Case Creation

Thank you for your interest in immigrating to the United States of America. The Department of State's National Visa Center (NVC) received your approved immigrant visa petition from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). NVC's role is to ensure you are prepared for your immigrant visa interview at a U.S. Embassy/Consulate General, and to schedule your interview appointment.

This is good, no?
