Does I129f helps in faster approval of i130?? Here I read that people say that it helps. But I was wondering that how it can help. As both are processed differently?? If it helps, than We can file . What you say?

It seems to help. What does it cost you? Some time to fill the form out. Postage. A photo for each of you. Copies of documents.

You can try it. There's two outcomes.

1. I-130 approval sooner

Or

2. I-130 approval later

Hey all!

Just found out that our case was approved on Aug 21.

We were at TSC and didn’t file a K3.

So excited! This means everyone else’s time is coming soon :)

Only for Texas. Nebraska has another 4 to 5 month wait. 😠

Why are they allowing people that are already married to file with I-129f?

I thought that was for fiance only?

It's for both. It is K3 visa but form i129f form used for both fiance and even for spouse visa of US citizen. Many say that applying K3 helps in faster approval of i130 visa. But I have even seen that it gets approved regardless.

Do you think...K3 helps??

Well I still think I'm getting slowed down by the beneficiary being from Iraq.

But I have no proof. So who knows. I've seen I-130s get approved in 4 months. But they had a different service center.

This is all depressing and makes no sense.

I-130s are approved in 4 months at Potomac SC only, Nebraska is 11 months at best (without expedite or I-129f), Texas is in between.

I don't think there is any more doubt here that filing the I-129F for K3 visa at Nebraska speed things up. The I-129F is denied and the I-130 approved in 1 to 2 months after the I-129F NOA1.

For our story, look at my profile.

I explained to @HKS the process but that was last week I'm not sure why they haven't applied yet. Ranting all over the forum isn't going to speed things up.

Take the chance of filing the k3. (Window might not be there forever)

Email your Congress folks about the slowness of Nebraska. (Everyone should complain either way)

Or sit patiently till noa2
