Administrative process at NVC

I am under administrative process at nvc. Anyone has an idea how long will last? Been there for two weeks now.

Yes, I was for 42 days. Just got case completed on March 22nd

I read that it takes 60 days or less once your case goes to AP. My fiance status has shown "No Status" for 53 days (38 buisness days). It hasn't updated since she had her interview in March 26, 2019. Any advice?

AP can takes a few hours up to a few years - no one no for sure when it will be done and it cannot be expedited.

Hi guys,im under AP status too. I submitted my 221g document april 10 2019 and my case updated april 15 2019 AP. I am confused because i theres 2 case status appear in CEAC with my the same case number the one is under AP updated April 15 and the other one is “Ready” for interview updated April 22? Its 1 and half month now  waiting for new update.

Hello, we are still in AP as well. My fiance had her interview March 26th and her case went in AP March 27th I am assuming because it hasnt been updated since. From what I am hearing it takes a long time for some people depending on the case. Now it has been 49 buisness days since the case was updated last. I wish I knew more to help you but I'm in the same situation myself and just waiting it out.

We were never told to submit a 221g. I emailed the embassy asking if they needed anymore information from us and I got an automated response apologizing for the inconvenience and then they told us exactly what the CEAC link says.

As long as the embassy doesn't need more information from you, unfortunately all you can do is wait. Welcome to the black hole that is AP😔. The only good news I've been reading about AP is they usually resolve your case and issue your Visa within 60 days. It says 60 days from the interview date but I am assuming buisness days since the Embassy is closed weekends and holidays.

Me too. Got approved may 23 but until now the status is AP..
