K1 Visa Approved Yesterday!!

Hi Everyone!

Thank God! Our wait is finally over!! My fiancee passed her interview yesterday!! :dance::dance:

She told me that the preinterviewer and the consul were really nice.

They were overwhelmed by the size of our file since it is almost 5 inches thick hehehe!! When the consul told her that the file is thick, she told him that she got another one that includes more recent evidence and He said he is already convinced by the first file :lol:

He Just asked how we met, where I work, If I have a house, and when we met. He also asked her if I have dependents and she said non, just her and our future kids :yes:

On a side note, Please don't bring your cell phone to the embassy, My fiancee saw a lady that left her cell phone to a lady that was standing outside the embassy, and when she was done, that lady was already gone. :o Lots of scammers outside the embassy. Some are even telling applicants that they will need photos for their interview so they provide the service even though the applicants already have their pictures on their DS 156. Please be careful when waiting outside the embassy.

On a side note, Please don't bring your cell phone to the embassy, My fiancee saw a lady that left her cell phone to a lady that was standing outside the embassy, and when she was done, that lady was already gone. :o Lots of scammers outside the embassy. Some are even telling applicants that they will need photos for their interview so they provide the service even though the applicants already have their pictures on their DS 156. Please be careful when waiting outside the embassy.

you can bring your cellphone for important reasons but never hand it "OUTSIDE" of the embassy. you'll have to leave it "INSIDE" of the embassy together with your id then you'll be given a number when its time to claim/ or when your done... as for pictures from the outside, yea alot of them offered but some could actually help the ladies since some forgot or use the wrong set/size of pics...

K-1/K-2 AOS APPROVED IN ATLANTA MAY 17, 2006

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

As for the cellphone thing, I thing, it is best not to bring it to the embassy at all.

Dec 24, 2014 - NOA2: I called USCIS @ USEM on Jan 5, 2015 and was told the I-130 was approved on Christmas Eve. Thank you Santa!

Jan 13, 2015 - MNL Case Number & Packet 3 Received via email (I emailed the IV Unit-Manila requesting these on Jan 5, 2015 and Jan 12, 2015)
