I am new to this Forum and wanted to see if anyone has the same patience waiting for the "special" NOA1 for the I-130. I don't understand why takes so long, I guess just to make us more nervous....

We filed on VSC but was transfer to CSV.

Hi and welcome to VJ. The severe delays in the NOA1s is a fairly recent phenomenon. See this thread for april filers who are experiencing these delays:

The good news is that the NOA1s have started to trickle in.

Remember also that CSC handles I130 packages forwarded from TSC, since TSC does not process these, so this might also be causing a lag in CSC.

Can you get your case number off the back of the check? If so, some people that filed back when we filed that never got their noa1's apparently attached a letter with the case number and successfully filed their i129f's. You can do a search and try to find their threads.

i'm waiting for the NOA1 so I can file for the I-129F, but I do have the WAC# thats all...Can I file for the I-129F without the receipt I-797?? just printing the page for the uscis web site online???

or I need to wait for the letter by mail?

I've seen a couple of people on VJ apply with a letter explaining that they have not gotten their I797 and providing the case number. You could try that. I would call the customer service number first and ask if they can send you a copy of your noa1. I see from your signature that your check cleared on May5, so you should have gotten it by now.

Here is one person who got approved without sending the 130 NOA1 with their 129f.
