Congratulations.  Did you ever get a text message?

No text, I just saw it on the USCIS app that I'm following my cases with. My receipt date was Feb 6 so it took 193 days to get the card processing update. Mine is at the NBC

Does anyone know the timeline from it being processed to shipped to arrived?

Today marks the 185th day and I haven’t received EAD yet. Submitted an inquiry on July 31 and still no response. However, on August 14 my case is ready to be scheduled for an interview. Will my interview come before EAD

The new process at USCIS requires the I-485 to be adjudicated for eligibility before they will process the EAD, so that they aren't issuing EADs to people with dummy or ineligible I-485s. What I think happens is that when your case is ready to be scheduled (not everyone sees this status change though), it means that a 'signal' has been sent to the NBC that your EAD is now eligible to be processed, usually after you have overcome any RFIEs. The interview may still take some time to schedule depending on the processing times at your Local Field Office.

Thank you for the information! 👍🏻

My I-485 case has been ready to be scheduled for an interview for 74 days. My lawyer said that doesn’t mean much. Just that they were no issues with the application and it’s now sitting on someone’s desk somewhere waiting to be processed.

Hello all,

I received my EAD/AP combo card, the NOA2 receipts or whatever they are, and my SSN all on the same day (about 196 days after NOA2). So i'd say if you're still waiting give it up until 190-ish days, that seems the maximum wait!

Cheers

Alice

We just got our EAD/AP combo card in the mail today. Our case has been ready to be scheduled for an interview since April 12,2019. Super exciting and good news after all the waiting. Still have not received a SSN/Card. Does anyone know how long before we get that. We put that we wanted one when filling our paper work so we wouldn't have to apply for it separately.

Good luck everyone praying for all of you on this forum and spreading good vibes to you all. 😊
